HRSA 2014-2015 Nurse Corps Scholarship

Hello everyone, This is my second time applying for this scholarship and hope to get it this time around. I got accepted into Pace nursing program fall of last year but because of lack of funds I had to postpone it for this fall. My overall GPA Is 3.4 and I have EFC of 0. I submitted my application today and now the waiting game begins:nailbiting:. Wish everyone good luck!!!!

I also obsessively check this forum and a forum on student doctor network about the other HRSA scholarship (NHSC) I applied for. It looks like a bunch of dental students also got their credit checked on 6/23 so now I'm thinking that the 6/23 credit check was for the HRSA NHSC scholarship and they haven't started checking credit for the Nurse Corps grant yet. Which means they are moving much slower than last year which means more waiting for us!

It seems as if they are behind last year. That and much less participation on the forum for this topic! I am hoping we hear something soon... I just had to take out loans for next semester... Boy are they high!!

Hi all!! I am also anxiously waiting to hear back. I have a EFC of 0 and I graduated undergraduate in May with a 3.9. I got accepted into a one year accelerated nursing program, so I'm really hope I get the scholarship since I am not allowed any more loans from the government. Mine still says under review, but I started to apply for private loans just in case the worst comes.

It seems as if they are behind last year. That and much less participation on the forum for this topic! I am hoping we hear something soon... I just had to take out loans for next semester... Boy are they high!!

The deadline for this year was about 2-3weeks later than last years deadline as well.... But still patiently waiting for a response.

wowwwwwwwwww...why are they do behind. Last year the deadline was extended and people heard back from them early july.
