Just finished my application for the HRSA Nurse Corp Loan Repayment Program 2023 program! Nervous but excited to see what comes of it, I see that the competition is extreme but it looks like over the past few years they've been given more funding to award!
Question as well: Does disadvantaged background apply to RN/APRN's applying or only to nurse faculty? I included the form anyway, just in case it helped my case as I am the first in my family to attend college.

Hi all. I applied for the Rural Community LRP and was notified in June that I was a finalist, but there have been no updates since then ? This is a continuation, I feel like when I received word for final notification it was around this time 4 years ago. Getting so nervous. I could really use some good financial news here soon.
I had my credit pulled 2 times but I have not heard from the Nurse Corps yet and I am a NP, I was a finalist for the NHSC Loan Repayment but declined. I called and was told that they have until Sept 30th to notify you. I am praying I made the right decision.
However, I noticed that the site will have a maintenance on the 26th of August. And I have read somewhere that it usually means its close to give us an update. Unfortunately I can't find the thread.
That being said, Has anyone heard anything in the RN side?
I was fortunate to receive news that I am a finalist for nurse corps loan repayment on the morning of 8/3. I've accepted the award but still under final review, curious if anyone else is under review as well? It's been some time since I accepted.

I'm also under final review. Just checked and I have a counter signature on my contract from 8/29, so hoping that is good news. Application hasn't updated yet though, still says "accepted award - under final review.”

Where does it show a counter signature? I haven't looked at mine for a couple weeks but will take another look to see if mine says the same. Fingers crossed!

Click on the link to view your contract and then look at the document; the counter signature should be all the way at the bottom.
