How much are you making in 2016. What was your starting pay out if school?
Where are you working?
Nurse for 8 years in the Midatlantic region. 75000 salary, management/education/resource position . The hours are 830 to 430 Monday through Friday. Lots of holidays with 4 weeks off and 3 mental health days and 7 vacation days. Also, i build up a PTO bank. Never have a patient but always helping my nurses with anything and everything they need. The pay is not the best but I do love what I am doing. And we are all making a difference!
LPN of 4.5 years working at a small chain AL in NE Indiana. $17.24/hr day shift, $1 differential eves, $2 differential nocs. Seems that this area of the Midwest doesn't pay very well at all. I previously lived in Ohio in an economically depressed rural area and made $15 and change at a SNF. My eyes about popped out of my head when I saw the post from the individual making $75,000/year and didn't think it was very good pay!

Northeast Ohio, 27+ years experience, 20.20 after three years in a national chain nursing home. Benefits and pay increases are bare bones but it's a job. Most facilities in the area are just about the same re pay/benefits. Folks employed prior to 2008 have a much better hourly wage.
