I had 265 yesterday and feel really good about the last set of questions (especially #265). I'm SCARED, though. Anybody know what the chances of passing are at 265??? Thanks!
A friend of mine took the exam last month. The computer stopped at 265 and she was in the room more than 5 hours. When she left the room she was teary eyed, frustrated and exhausted. She was speechless and really felt so sad. When she got home she opened her books and looked up at some of the questions she remembers and was finding out if she got them right. She was so restless and didn't eat or sleep well until she got the result ... and she PASSED!!! She couldn't express her happiness ... crying and jumping for joy!
So for all of you who had 265 questions ... I wish you all good luck.
As for me, i am just starting. In fact, I am just submitting my paperwork to the Board of Nursing. Pretty soon, I'll be asking suggestions from you guys!:)
Good luck everyone!
Well this thread has definitely raised my spirits some. Just got home after sitting in front of that computer for 5.5 hours and i'm really depressed.
All my classmates thus far have only gotten 75 questions and all have passed. I got to 75 today and felt really good and was expecting it to stop......but nope. I got some of the select all type questions early in my test and thought that was a good sign and that i was really performing well.
Then i went to 100....then 150....then 200....and it finally stopped at 237. I honestly felt like the last 100 questions were from a different test. The first 75 seemed easy and the last 100 were very hard. The last 20 or so pretty much were the priority type questions. Are those the harder ones?
I don't know if i should feel encouraged from what i have read here but i'm really feeling like i didn't pass. The last 100 just felt like i didn't know any. Not sure what that really means.
I also wanted to say i think it is really vogue for everyone who passes to say "i only got 75 questions." I'm calling bs and i think alot of people are doing it to make themselves seem smarter than others.
Anyone have any thoughts on my 237 questions? Should i worry or does that amount of numbers really mean anything?
hi you guys...
i hope this spreads some light and relaxes you some... i was a b student in school, graduated, and took my boards and passed them after 45 minutes and 75 questions. our class valdictorian was there taking the test when i arrived, and was still taking it when i left... she shut off at 265 and passed....
good luck to you all, and please be sure to keep us posted!!! don't fret!
I PASSED WITH 265 QUESTIONS.......and also two other students passed also with the same amount of questions.....from my class.
I know how you feel......as the number of questions went up , i felt sick.....and after I was sure i failed........BUT I PASSED! I hope you pass...don't worry.....I know is hard not too.
I too am in the same boat. I took it today and the test shut off at 265. I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooo nervous but at least I live in IL and can get the quick results but I have to wait until monday. I was feeling good though because I had A TON of priortization questions and the select all that apply type questions. But I just don't know. Towards the end I I was so tired of looking at that screen that I am afraid I made some stupid choices and didn't get any of the last string of questions right. Guess we'll see on Monday.
