  1. this is very true! be resourceful and the internet has huge variety of infos, be patient and most of all PRAY that you will get the right job you deserve.
  2. that would depend on which state you want to work..there are few states that still require CFGNS exam. requirements to be petitioned for a green card: you passed NCLEX and IETLS or you passed CGFNS and IELTS
  3. for your info, i have friends who are there in the US who i could say learn from this forum and i have intention to keep them updated.
  4. i did not post here that i am going thru AOS, i was asking the process but that does not mean im into it. we have freedom of speech right. it started when i commented to JunRN, i am not advertising to go thru AOS. i did not expect this kind of treatment that i was judged like i did something. i could not sleep yet coz in my country its day time, but im sure i could sleep later coz i have pure and honest intent.
  5. i totally agree with you!
  6. i am sorry if you see me that way and judged me that way. i am here in my country and had been petitioned in the legal way the I-140.
  7. Do not worry ms suzanne, as what you said we are entitled to our opinion. for your info, i am not one of those people you keep on judging, i did the legal way, had been petitioned already. if i may say, those people who have been waiting for their petitions for many years, if given the opportunity that they have tourist visa.. they maybe think doing the AOS way long before. you kept saying there are many denials, i guess it is case to case basis. i know US is smarter that what people think, that is why they are monitoring each tourist that comes esp during the port of entry. every move is being observed, they are trained for that. the biggest issue i could say is that those people who are in the US illegally. That makes US immigration pushed to be more strict.
  8. oh! that is enlightening to hear! how many days did you receive it? did you take cgfns exam?
  9. I AGREE TO JunRN. it is the intent at the port of entry that makes AOS illegal. please give those tourist the benefit of the doubt, they are weighing things not just jumping in front of others without consulting lawyers and keep updated with immigration issues. Going there entails lot of money, they pay for the air fares, plus travel allowances, accommodation. financially and psychologically burden is there. If the tourist changes his/her mind when he/she is there, another huge amount of money will be needed..lawyers fee, immigration fees, etc. NOT ALL CAN AFFORD THAT! getting a tourist visa now is not easy, everybody agrees with me. so, during interview, the immigration officer is the judge, we are not.
  10. hi there! i applied online since feb. in my status, the only thing that i lack is my verification of license (local), i was a june2006 passer, i waived my license and took the local boards again last june2007. the status that stated that i only lack local board verification which before i did not indicate coz i knew we will not be given visascreen..is since last april or may. so this time, cgfns kept emailing me for my local board verification which i cannot do it at the moment for the reason that results are not yet out. can you predict how many months i will get my visascreen assuming that results will be out next week or two? thanks
  11. you know what website? you know someone working there? thanks
  12. if the results will be out now, is it okay if ill submit the verification of license for visascreen before going through the initial registration? thanks
  13. in my case, the only requirement I lack for my visascreen is the phil board. im a june2006 passer, waived my license and took the boards last june2007. is okay if i submit the verification of license to PRC first before the initial registration? thanks
  14. hey guys! you have to go through the initial registration by filling up forms, fingerprint and etc., before you can file for verification of license for visascreen? if the results will be out now, is it alright you submit to PRC the verification of license ahead of the initial registration? thanks!
  15. when you mentioned the above bold, italic letters about quite sometime, does that mean the end of the year? or worst next year? Thank you!
