The title says it all! How many miles are you from work, and how long does it take you to drive there?

I work 4 miles from my home, which is about 10 mins or so through downtown, and 11 stoplights, so sometimes longer than 10 mins. I just happen to live near a large hospital. i would not be opposed to driving for a good job, and am actually considering a job that is a 45 minute drive from here.

13.3 miles, according to Google Maps, and anywhere from 17 to 40 minutes depending on which way I go and how much traffic there is (I have to be at work at 6 on some days and as late as 8 on others).

It's pretty similar to other commutes I've had in the past.

According to mapquest I live 5.5 miles from where I work. It's virtually one straight shot, no traffic, I don't have to go into town, and there is free parking...can't beat it

I work in the downtown area of the city where I reside, and it takes about 20 to 25 minutes to get there if traffic is light or nonexistent. I live approximately 13 miles from my place of employment.

32 miles-it takes me 45-50 minutes, from getting in my car in my driveway, to punching in on my floor. About half of it is highway, that part always takes 20 minutes. The rest is where I can make up or lose time. Lots of lights, and a PIA railroad crossing. The other night I left home at 1812 for my 1900 shift. Ended up getting stuck with a train at the railroad crossing, and then hitting every red light between there and the hospital. Punched in at 1902. But that was my worst commute (on nights) yet.

Probably less than 4 miles, about 10 minutes...
