How long to get CA NCLEX-RN results?

Did anyone wait longer than 72 hours to get their results on the BRN website? Tomorrow is R-day for me and I'm worried I will wake up and not have the results. Does that mean I failed or the BRN is backed up. if anyone can tell me that would be great!:banghead:

I actually had my new hire appt today. They don't need your license right away. They told me just to bring it in when I get it (if I get it). What floor are you working on?

Does anyone know how long it takes the BRN to complete a person's file? I graduated on June 15th, but had turned in my application before then. The following Monday after graduating I received my ATT. And today I attempted to tackle the 'beast.' I was hoping the BRN has my file complete so that I don't have to wait an entire 4 weeks to get my results, cause that would just stress me out.

One cannot start to work without the license in hand, even orientation cannot be started without it.

It depends on when your school sent in your transcripts, they will not release a license without having them in your file. And you can get the ATT without a completed file as long as your name is on the roster submitted by the school before you even graduated.

Days. So you're on tele then. Thats cool. I think I know who you are. if I'm not mistaken is this Caleb???

Anyways, still no news from BRN. Hopefully I get it before August 24th. :)

:D Its Camille dude. Guess what, I found out I passed today. So I guess average wait is 11days, since I'm the first one I think. I waited for 8 business days.

So, our files are complete and good luck to you. It sucks waiting but its worth it at the end.

CONGRATS!!!!!!!! How does it feel? I bet it feels great. Now all you have to do is wait til the end of August. Lucky, lol.

Eeek 8 business day!!!!! I'm on 'business day' 4 and I called this morning to check on my second time fingerprints and I was told they were sent out on 8/1 which is the day I took my test. So, I'm figuring I probably wont find out my results for a while. Since it usually take 2-3 weeks to process fingerprints.

So 2 more weeks of insomnia, nausea and palpitations. How EXCITING. :scrying::cry:

I took mine on a Saturday and got my results Tuesday morning. It all depends on everyones files.

Eeek 8 business day!!!!! I'm on 'business day' 4 and I called this morning to check on my second time fingerprints and I was told they were sent out on 8/1 which is the day I took my test. So, I'm figuring I probably wont find out my results for a while. Since it usually take 2-3 weeks to process fingerprints.

So 2 more weeks of insomnia, nausea and palpitations. How EXCITING. :scrying::cry:

Why do they have to process your fingerprints after you've taken the test? I'm a little confused with this.

The first time I got fingerprinted, I got a letter and new fingerprint card sent back saying that my fingerprints couldn't be processed because they weren't readable. So, I had to go again I couldn't get an appointment to get fingerprinted until 2 days before my test so I overnight the fingerprints and they sent them of to the FBI or whatever the place that reads them on aug 1. And yes i've taken the test. i was still allowed to test I just can't get my results until the fingerprints gets back to the BON from wherever it's sent to. [atleast that's how I assume it works]

Ahhhh, I see. That kind of sucks. Well I wish you the best of luck with that. Other than that, how do you think you did on the test?
