How long to get CA NCLEX-RN results?

Did anyone wait longer than 72 hours to get their results on the BRN website? Tomorrow is R-day for me and I'm worried I will wake up and not have the results. Does that mean I failed or the BRN is backed up. if anyone can tell me that would be great!:banghead:

I originally posted the thread, and I did find out in 72 hours I passed. However, there was a girl in my class that got delayed and found out in four days. She was an international student so we think thats why she got delayed. So anything can happen....as far as the rest of my class, so far we all found out in the wee hours of the morning on the 3rd day. Good luck to all of you that are waiting and that haven't gotten their results. I know it feels like forever!!!:heartbeat

Hi guys I'm new here. I also am in the same boat as some of you. I took the nclex on the 21st and still no name on the CA BRN website. I called them up a couple of times and they said 2 different things: 1) that my file is complete and that they have my transcripts and 2) it is still processing and will take 1-4 weeks for the results. I also called my school and they said I had a hold on my school account because I didn't do an online exit interview for loans. I mean, they should have the transcripts because how else am I going to get an ATT? I'm just wondering if they are any correlations between them putting a hold on my school account and my getting results (my name on that coveted website)? I'm kind of convinced I failed. Went to 265 and didn't feel good getting out. Tons of priority questions. omg not even kidding you. I did not see my name up on the website within three days. If anyone can shed any light on this, it would be appreciated :)

CA will permit a CA grad to test before they have received the transcripts from your school, this happens to be a very well known fact. So if your school is telling you that they have not released your transcripts, then you are not going to see your name on the CA BRN website no matter how long that you wait.

As long as your name was on the roster from your school that you were expected to graduate, the BRN will permit you to test. Suggest that you settle up with what your school wants you to do, or you are not going to be getting a license issued.

And the average wait is a full ten days and we always ask or request that one does not phone them for at least two weeks, as each phone call only delays everyone in getting processed.

But if your school is telling you that they did not send in your transcripts, that is what you need to go by. And CA never makes any exception to this rule, no license without a completed file.

I waited 9 days. And EVERYONE else in my class (that I know passed) had their results in 3 days. Don't be discouraged 'til you have the final verdict - I was in panic mode from days 3 to 9 because I listened to my other classmates. It's not worth the anxiety. I know this is practically impossible, but try to relax...265 questions means nothing. Don't worry about how many you answered.

Does anyone know how long it takes the BRN to complete a person's file? I graduated on June 15th, but had turned in my application before then. The following Monday after graduating I received my ATT. And today I attempted to tackle the 'beast.' I was hoping the BRN has my file complete so that I don't have to wait an entire 4 weeks to get my results, cause that would just stress me out.

HYPOXIC, I too graduated around the same time that you did. I graduated on june 14th, from Walnut, CA and received my ATT on June 19th. Took the NCLEX on July 18th and still no results.

I have no clue on how to find out if our files are complete unless we call them. But I dont want to call too soon and inconvenience anyone. Its been 6 business days since my NCLEX (total of 10 regular days).

Should I call or should I wait till the end of this week?

Whoa, I graduated from Walnut too!!! I received my ATT on June 16th. I have a feeling the BRN hasn't finished your file, that's why it's taking so long.

Anyways, I sure hope so because I'm starting work the last week of august and they NEED for me to have my actual license. I hope it doesnt take that long!!

Weekday, this is funny. :D But yup, going to PIH too. Hey its a small world. But I have my new hire appointment next week and I'll probably have to reschedule because they want me to bring in the actual card. When's your "new hire" appointment???

And you probably got you ATT before me because I turned in my application like two weeks before school ended.

I just want this to end. I NEED answers. it sucks waiting.

I actually had my new hire appt today. They don't need your license right away. They told me just to bring it in when I get it (if I get it). What floor are you working on?
