How did you find out about allnurses?

Hey everyone . just wondering how do YOU find out about allnurses.com. I found out about it when I was searching for somehting about nursing school and I looked for it on a search engine. I happened to pass this site on that search. I thought this was interesting site, but not exactly what I was looking for at the time. When I finally realized I was going to do it (nursing school). I thought about this site and been hooked here ever since.:)

I was doing some volunteer work with a LTC RN and he told me I "needed" to check this out. We'd met on a general discussion board. I've lurked for about 2 years now and finally posted recently.

Yeah! I was preparing for NCLEX-Pn and doing alot of online questions and practice. I found this site posted among other sites, and believe me it has been very helpful. I passed my boards on 31st October 2005, and I love my new job in a LTC:

:melody: i discovered this site through an e-mail from my new group, [email protected],. about a free 2hr. conference for reviewing for the nclex exam, http://www.nursing-review.com -i did the copy and past into the browser, and at the site there on the bottom of the page was a click here to the top 10 nursing sites.:yelclap:

Hi! I'm a nurse:nurse: from the Philippines and i'm now working here in NY. I was looking for a long -lost friend of mine, Marlon Herrera Carpio, also a nurse in California the last time i heard of him. I found it very interesting and I believe that it can be of help for me gain new and old friend of mine and most of all for my profession:idea: . That's how i came across of the allnurses.com.

I just hope that anyone could help me on how I could look and or find my friend.

I simply typed nursing in google to search for some information on nursing in general and I wound up here. Plain and simple.

I googled something about nursing and this site popped up. I also found it in nursingjourney.com, which is another (obviously) nursing site. I LOVE ALLNURSES.COM!!!! You guys have become my family. My sister calls this my "myspace" web site.:lol2: I absolutely agree!

I am new to the program. What good coves from Allnurse? Or is it just nurse's venting what they can;t vent at their job?

Googled. I'm lucky that I found this site. It has been a comfort knowing what to expect in the future as a RN.

When first starting out, a student told me about the site.

PS It's nice to have a *vent* ilator.(It's allnurses).
