I was speaking to a nurse whose brother had a 'borderline' creatinine level. Her brother told her that the nurse told him that he drinks alot of soda, and that probably dehydrated him slightly. We were trying to debate this, and from my deduction, it may be that his sugar was elevated.
Anyone have an answer to this? Thanks!
Yes it is!I found the old email . . . and a lot of other urban legends. This is fun.http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/blxfood.htm

Ever wonder why it's not called Kentucky Fried Chicken anymore?
:roll :roll
No, but that would be more likely be an effect of uncontrolled diabetes than soda consumption, correct?
I'd think so...
My mom thought sodas were evil, convinced they were going to rot out my kidneys. She would fuss at me every time I'd drink one, and was quite put out at my doc for not telling me to stay away from them :)
