Use the hospital toothbrush and soap.

If your getting black marks on them and nothing is getting it off, I found nail polish remover does the trick. Just don't use very much or rub too hard, it will take the white dye off!

Thanks I'll try that!
I use alcohol pads and that works ok.

I found a pencil eraser works good on scuff marks and also toothpaste. Then do your regular polish if needed.

I bought a cleaning solution at the Dollar Store that works wonders. Its called "Awesome" and I use it with a toothbrush. I am amazed how well it works. It is awesome (haha) to use on carpet stains and clothing stains too. I love that stuff and its only $1.00 per bottle. I like it better than any cleaner and its cheap.

I use comet bathroom cleaner (the spray kind). Get an old towel, spray your shoes and watch the grim run right off or spray your old rag and wipe clean. Also, 409 works well. I clean mine every night before going to bed and they look good as new the next morning.

I wonder if a Magic Eraser would work?
I haven't tried that, only the bathroom cleaner and 409. I promise those two will work. If the products can clean grime and grease, that will clean your shoes.
