Starting a thread about Houston Nurse Residency programs that open this month/next to start in June/July!

No email about an offer or a rejection. I’m hoping this cohort is different bc it was horrible last time ? hope we get better news!

They are done with Summer cohort interviews. They have a cohort starting August 24th and August 31st

I just accepted a job for their OR residency at clear lake. They gave me the offer about two weeks ago, and I start training next week. I graduated in May. But I heard that they only gave two positions for all the units for their residency at the clear lake location so far and it was for the OR (don’t know if that’s true but I hope this helps!)

Yea. I’m starting the STarRN program in the medical center this Monday August 24th. They have finished interviews for the Summer. The have a cohort starting August 31st as well. I want to believe they will open applications for fall in September for a October or November start.

I’m starting in post surgical at the women’s hospital.Long story. No my school is weird. I graduated in February. I was offered my residency to start in April, but coronavirus pushed the start date. So I’ve been working in home health for the time being.!

Dang so last year after the Friday offers not many ppl got offers after that ? Or was it after the Monday-Wednesday offers?

I can’t remember the days but I just remembered her saying that the “first wave” of offers were sent out and then nothing after that really happened!

Just checked my application status on the St Luke's website and it changed to:

Hiring Manager Reviewed; Not Selected.

? So very frustrating!

I’m sorry! Mine still just says “under manager review”. I bet it’ll change to what yours is soon tho. Did anyone else’s change?

My heart dropped when I read this and started racing when I checked it still says under review. I’m still praying ?? my stomach is literally in knots !!
