Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2021 Applicants

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

Out of 1200 how many interviews  did they take is a good question

I interviewed with children’s tho and still didn’t hear back so it seems like they’re all slow ? only PICU and IMCU seemed to get some call backs not general (which is where I interviewed for)

So do you know anyone whose heard back from PICU?

Yes 1-2 ppl either in this thread or the MH one heard back with offers from PICU!

PICU was called yesterday evening. They have 72 hours to accept/decline so rejection letters will probably come after those people respond to the offer.

Are you talking about pre-screening interview or in person interviews?

Pre-screening! I know they said last week and this week but I wasn't sure like when they'd actually be done. I'm curious because I know once they're done is when they will decide who gets an in person/second interview and with which of their 3 units and I just want to mentally prepare for that LOL

Right!! When I had my pre screen they said they were hoping for everyone to hear back around April 1 so we should know if we got an in-person this week!
