Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2021 Applicants

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

I noticed my application is under review, with Memorial Hermann.

I applied on the 14th and just received my assessment today. Don't worry, I think it's randomly sent.

Did anyone choose Southeast ICU as their first or second choice? That was the closest facility to my home. Sorofim IMU at TMC was my 2nd.

I still haven’t gotten my follow up emails saying the units received my application for MH. I applied to cmhh and memorial city the day apps opened. Anybody else still waiting on emails?

I havent gotten any follow up emails yet I applied to TMC and Memorial City

Maybe it’s because we applied to medical center locations as first choice. I’m sure they get the most applications so we just need to be patient but I know it’s so hard. When did you apply?

the 15th.. I'm sure it's fine. They extended the app date so it just closed yesterday or the day before. I'm not worried. I completed it correctly and they get thousands of apps

Just got my confirmation emails and behavioral assessment from Memorial hermann. don't stress guys! I applied to TMC CVICU and Memorial City ER.
