Hello! I created this thread for those graduating in December who are applying to nurse residency programs in Houston for the Spring 2021 start date. Good luck everyone!!

Well, never mind. I got another email from Methodist about Labor and Delivery, which was my 1st choice.

Same! That's why I was asking, it says med surg unit, but the spreadsheet says Emergency?

Have you ever worked as an RN before? And when did you graduate?

I have not. I am graduating in December!

Anyone who chose children's as their first choice have an update on their application status? Mine still says "under review." I chose greater heights as my second choice and it says "application received."

Those were my choices in the same order, too! I haven’t had a status change and mine say the same thing

I have children’s first too and my application still says under review. What unit did y’all pick for children’s?

Just an updated list of dates for everyone for a couple of hospitals. My first choices were all at TMC, second at Sugarland locations, and varied between OR, L&D and Neuro. So far my status is still listed as "application under review" and my second choice states "application received." I haven't received any additional emails for interviews. Good luck everyone!

• MEMORIAL HERMANN: If selected to interview for Virtual Match Day, recruiters reach out to candidates No later then Friday October 16th. Virtual match day is Monday, October 19 - Thursday, October 22nd” 
• HOUSTON METHODIST: All candidates are currently being reviewed and finalized for the Virtual Pre-Screening event that will be held from October 12th - 23rd, 2020 by each Houston Methodist Location. Communication will be sent to the individuals who have met the requirements for each Houston Methodist Location and the steps to follow to schedule a time for the virtual pre-screening.
• ST. LUKES: Selected candidates will receive a private invite to our NRP Interview Event which is targeted for Wednesday, October 28, 2020.
• HARRIS HEALTH: If you are selected for an interview, an HR Representative will contact you by Thanksgiving regarding the next step.
