During a Thursday night interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity timed to coincide with the final night of the Democratic National Convention, President Trump said he hoped the pandemic was “nearing the final term.”
That was followed by a round of Friday morning interviews by Vice President Mike Pence. On CNN, Pence said “we think there’s a miracle around the corner” in the form of a coronavirus vaccine that could be available by the end of the year, calling it a “tribute to President Trump’s leadership.” This follows comments from Trump earlier this month predicting a vaccine could be ready by Election Day, and earlier this year when he alluded to the virus disappearing “like a miracle.””

There is a reason why people have stopped listening/believing the used to be main stream news and "fact checkers". For the most part they are bias at best, but either incompetent/or flat out liars.
Here are but a few examples (which of course there are many many more).
There were even some people on this sight arguing that it was Sandmans ( a kid) fault even when other real news organizations were showing the proof it wasnt. I am guessing those folks were only getting their info from the used to be main stream "news"
Personally I like to get info from all sights and use my critical thinking instead of just listening to political talking points, which has only got worse since Trump bc of their extreme dislike for him. "Reporting" the news has been replaced with a constant stream on anti Trump rhetoric, sad and pathetic bc it is mostly hurting the country.

It seems that way because so much of the factual and credible reporting is not flattering to Trump, his unwise hiring choices, his feckless foreign policy or his preference for nepotism. It's difficult to praise a president that demands NDAs, pays hush money to keep people quiet, uses middle school bully language, and promotes and hires incompetent, corrupt and dishonest people to whisper into his ear. The Trump administration is, simply put, one of the most corrupt administrations in the history of this country...or either of our lifetimes. Reporting on the arrest of yet another corrupt Trump campaign or staff member is not dangerous for the country, having a corrupt president who hires corrupt people is dangerous for the country.

I don't think anyone needs to hear from Fox news that the main stream media is bias, it is blatantly obvious! Also, Fox states whether they are commentary shows or news. IMO, CNN and others call themselves journalist and then just bash Trump with anything and everything, whether true or not.
You can believe what you want about Trump but my point was that the info is coming from an highly bias viewpoint. My example was re: the Nick Sandman case. CNN and others were quick to blame the kid and reported as such with no evidence. There was a thread here about it as well where people (I believe including yourself) blamed the kid with zero evidence except what I am guessing you heard from liberal media, and even after other sites showed the videos etc some even continued to blame the kid (it is his fault for being at the protest, he was the aggressor, his white privilege was to blame etc etc.) This was a prime example of people just listening to liberal media and believing what they want to hear (no matter the truth or who is getting hurt in the process, even when it is a kid) just bc they think they can get a dig in to the President. Shameless!!

Many, many people don't depend upon cable television programming to satisfy informational or educational needs. At this time, it is unclear how repeated mention of the Sandman case makes the point that you believe that you are making. Current reputable media isn't discussing that young man outside of noting his scheduled speaking appearance at the RNC convention and his cause for celebrity. But clearly, the RNC believes that his story is relevant today and should be reviewed in a celebration of positivity, is that about right? Is he another example of how we should be afraid of something or a victory over something? I mean, since the point of the convention isn't division and grievance, why is he relevant?
