my husband has been hospitalized since wednesday. he's in isolation with his foot and leg elevated and is on complete bedrest except for his visits to pt. he's on enough pain meds that he's zonked.
we talk often by phone.
guess what he just said??
every floor needs and should have a minimum of six more nurses each shift because they have too much to do!!:yeah::yeah:

Can he please write a note to TPTB at that hospital?
i know he has already said something to the administrator, who os a friend and neighbor.
i'll suggest a note to the board when he gets sprung.

hope he feels better soon.
he just called. he's allowed up for potty trips now!! he was excited as a little kid! they took his "fall risk" bracelet off too. last night when he was b****ing about it, i told him to be glad he only
had a bracelet because he could have had an alarm that would sound every time he scratched or wiggled. he was not impressed.
he's needed to be right where he is for weeks, but being a typical man, dug his heels in and simply refused to go. he's never been quite this pigheaded before, but has been in so much pain that he simply wasn't thinking clearly.
we appreciate all the good wishes. thank you.
