Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I've recently been accepted to Holy Family's Accelerated Nursing program-- I understand they have just begun their first cohort, so finding information is very difficult and I just want to be informed before I make any sort of decision. Are there any current HFU accelerated nursing students or traditional nursing students who can speak to their experience with the university? I've seen many negative posts but they also seem a bit outdated! Thanks!

nope. no expiration at HFU (which is why i'm considering it--all other PA/NJ area schools have 5-10 yr expirations.) i'm also taking the TEAS V for another school i'm applying into, so i'm giving myself a nice refresher of some material.

Specializes in MICU.

I'm a traditional student. well goodluck

Yes. Have a 4.0 in prereqs. How soon did you hear after you had the interview?

Does anyone happen to know when the application deadline is for the Spring 2016 cohort? I was planning on applying to Villanova, but am now looking into Holy Family as well and since they require fewer pre-reqs I am already done with those so was curious if I could still apply for Spring or would need to wait and apply for Fall 2016. I have a message out to them, but didn't see application deadlines on their website. Thanks!

I'm curious as well.

There is no specific deadline. I believe they accept applications until they fill the cohort. They are currently interviewing for the Spring 2016 cohort. I had my interview on Monday and was told I would hear in about three weeks.

Thanks for the info, Czeiger. I hope the interview went well. Good luck!

Hi Czeiger. I heard from them probably in 2 weeks (even a little bit less).

For those looking to attend HFU, where are the clinicals located? Do students go downtown or stay in the Bucks area?

And admissions confirmed that there isn't a deadline for the spring cohort-- which she said starts in January 2016. They accept until the cohort is full as previously stated. She said it's typically a M-F 9-5 classroom, clinical days 12 hrs. (Pretty standard it seems.)

The clinicals are all over....northeast (Nazareth Hospital) downtown and even South Jersey.

I was accepted for the Spring 2016 cohort! Anyone else?

Congrats to you!!!! Can you give me your mail, I will add you to my contacts.
