I've recently been accepted to Holy Family's Accelerated Nursing program-- I understand they have just begun their first cohort, so finding information is very difficult and I just want to be informed before I make any sort of decision. Are there any current HFU accelerated nursing students or traditional nursing students who can speak to their experience with the university? I've seen many negative posts but they also seem a bit outdated! Thanks!
I think so. I am accepted for the Fall 2015 cohort. I'm starting on August 31st yet I just finished my last prerequisite (statistics) in May from Bucks CCC. So they accepted me with one pre-req still undone. I've heard that its good to have at least your sciences complete while applying. But I have also seen a greater willingness to work with student applicants at HFU compared to other places I applied - Drexel was not helpful with helping me to complete pre-reqs, they were all business.
I too just moved from California and am considering HFU for their accelerated, mainly because it's super close (I live in Bucks.)
Also looking into UWOSH for flexibility since I have two young boys.
There isn't much info online about the program and application deadlines/requirements etc.
Curious to hear if anyone can give us some info about the schedule, being the first cohort and all.

@JA0421 I wouldn't worry too much about that! I have a BA in psych from Temple and I was missing 3 classes when I applied to HFU for their ABSN for Fall 1015 entry and I was accepted even though I won't be finishing my last pre req until about two weeks prior to starting at HFU. Hopefully this makes you feel a little better!
But to the other comments! I'll be starting in the fall with you guys! I'd love to join the facebook group and talk with other future classmates before we start! HFU's cost was a big factor for me too and the fact that its located in a nice town not far from me! Congrats to us!
