I have decided to start a thread for HCC future nurses that are applying for class beginning 2015 of spring. I would like us all to be able to share and relate to one another, while experiencing this exciting moment. I know it may seem a little early but better sooner then later. This will be my last semester before I can apply to the program. I am registered to take micro with lab and humanities fall 2014. I will be able to submit my application in right after my grades are posted. The deadline for the 2015 spring class is June 1st if I am not mistaken. How is everyone else holding up?

Thank you! One final down 2 more to go.. my final grade is an A for microbiology lab. Im shooting for an A in both lecture and humanities 2210.... almost done! Ill be completely done on tuesday next week!

Hi Hope!!

I am so sorry for the late response finishing up classes! Yes it is hectic. I will finish my pre-classes next week it took me a year.

I could not agree with you more! What will be ..will be! Yes this process has been hard, I am married with a 2 -year old and even though my DH has helped me along the journey the stress has been a bit overwhelming.

I think I will finish up with a 3.8 or 3.7, which I think is pretty good. Considering the fact that I do not qualify for financial assistance I will have to pay out-of-pocket, so childcare is out of the question for me my only option will be Dale Mabe- Nights/Clinicals Sat. So yes we are in the same boat.

So nice to meet you BTW!

Hi there ladies , can you guys believe it? 1 more week and we get our final grades! Application time is right around the corner, like IHope stated in a recent post. "What will be..will be"!

No matter what happens I know you awesome ladies gave it your ALL, and in the grand scheme of things that's what really matters! Good luck to you guys on your final grades.

Yes ma'am 1 more week! Woo hoo I can not wait! So excited to getbthe application in. I will be taking chemistry, statistics, human nutritian and development life cycle, this will keep me busy while waiting for nursing school to start.. the 7 credits chemistry and statistics will go towards my AA degree. Ill just need speech, humanities and american history.. I plan on challenging the computer proficiency requirements with the test. I am good with computers and most popular programs so I should pass with a 70+ , this will exempt me from taking the class.

And by time I graduate with my ASN ill also walk with my AA degree

Unofficial since its from HCC. How about everyone else? Gradius do u hve any advice on this since u hve applied already?
