I have decided to start a thread for HCC future nurses that are applying for class beginning 2015 of spring. I would like us all to be able to share and relate to one another, while experiencing this exciting moment. I know it may seem a little early but better sooner then later. This will be my last semester before I can apply to the program. I am registered to take micro with lab and humanities fall 2014. I will be able to submit my application in right after my grades are posted. The deadline for the 2015 spring class is June 1st if I am not mistaken. How is everyone else holding up?

Oh sorry I wasn't specific enough. I was talking about Pre-req's. I took all at HCC. Thanks!!

if you took all your classes in Hcc then you don't need to give them transcript from there. you are good to go.. just in case if you took like other classes elsewhere provide them a transcript (official)...how is your GPA for pre-req look if you don't mind me asking..

Aiming for 4.0. I am waiting for the result of my last ap2 test, and I have finish my English test online. I'm pretty sure I get an A for ap2, but i am not so sure about English as English is my second language(so far I have an A, but it could easily go down with my last test...). We will see, good luck to both of us!!

oh don't worry if you have A and god forbid you got B it won't ruin you..u still will get in..I have a B and my gpa is still semi-good :) not a 4.0 still good... hang in there you will get that A..keep studying really hard. I'm rooting for you :).... Anything 3.6 GPA is better if I'm not mistaken

That's great zosan, I have 2 B I think and ill have a 3.71. I have 1 exam today and 1 Tuesday so leroy! U are lucky. Drink it up and relax. I'm watching the fight this Saturday for some fun time. .. u have to add it in. Or u will fry your brain lololol. Congrats to u that your finished. .

Thank you. Sounds like many of us are moms including me. Mine are 12 and 10 so it's much easier than before. I admire you for going through this process with younger children and work!!

lol i have still more classes i'm taking for summer SIL..lol i seriously want to have a time off but if i take off my brain just mush so gonna keep busy!! n seriously your GPA is not bad you will get in SIL hang on!! n i hope u finish fast we can get accepted n party up then!!!

Even though I don't know you guys that well or you guys know me that well, I wanna say I really admire n have great respect for u mothers who r really working hard...so proud of u guys :geek:!!!! keep up the good work!! and yes i won't alienated my other fellow guys..u too have worked soooo hard n be happy u r surrounded by women all day, everyday...i'm sooooo excited about that part as a guy!!!!:greyalien::sneaky:..Just kidding..or am I..:sneaky:.so proud of all of you!! ......Cheers, love, n hugs to u guys!!!!:blackalien::):geek::up::laugh::bag::nurse:

We all have a great support system here... everyone is so positive and that is truly amazing. Im so grateful to have u guys going through this with me. Be a mom of 3 is hard. I work part time as well. Not easy. But I fortunately have my spouse to help with the kids. I give big props to everyone here who had made it this far with and without children. My kids are 10, 7, and 2....

SILVACH24 listen I went again to the advisor of nursing and she said you can apply now and don't worry about the grades been posted as long as it is posted by june 1st and you don't have any other pre-req for nursing left. I know Grad said you can't but I made sure you can...So I would make sure you got all the paper work in order just in case you waiting for the grade to be posted...Really glad you started this forum..i Applied:yes:

Congrats on your application! My papers have been ready 2 months ago! Lmao.. I have my hard copy sealed college transcripts and high school along with the application filled out and signed. I have been waiting so long for this moment right here! I asked the advisor and she said they had my transcripts but I'm not taking chances. .. Because registration might have them but what if admission or records dont .. so that's why I'm including another copy. I just need to write a check, seal my envelope, and send it off.... and get ready for the back ground check, drug test, and cpr class. Along with buying the books and scrubs and accessories needed for class and clinicals like stethoscopes, watch with hand and seconds on it etc
