I have decided to start a thread for HCC future nurses that are applying for class beginning 2015 of spring. I would like us all to be able to share and relate to one another, while experiencing this exciting moment. I know it may seem a little early but better sooner then later. This will be my last semester before I can apply to the program. I am registered to take micro with lab and humanities fall 2014. I will be able to submit my application in right after my grades are posted. The deadline for the 2015 spring class is June 1st if I am not mistaken. How is everyone else holding up?
For my first time in Spring 2013 I had them sent electronically through the 5 or so schools I attended and ALSO had those schools send me paper transcripts to me direct and kept them in their envelopes, unopened, as once you open them they are no longer official, and dropped them in my manilla envelope I sent with my application. A month or so later I got some of those enveloped-transcripts back from HCC with a tiny note that basically said "HCC already has these transcripts on file, thank you."So, truthfully you probably don't need to do both, but if you drop enveloped copies in with your app, then you know for a fact that you sent them (versus relying on your school to send them for you) and you can even confirm they received everything because they let you send a SASP in with your app that they will return to you once they get all the materials.
How about HCC prerequisites classes. Should we include an unofficial copy with our apps
if you are talk about Hcc transcript u don't need to give them one...but if it is any other colleges yes those need to be sealed n official and must be turned in with the app. Also if u provided the transcript when u entered Hcc u don't need to provide those transcripts again..hope this helps
