I wanted to start a thread for those applying to HCC's Spring 2014 nursing program. I am a stay at home mom. I know its early but I wanted to get as much info as possible. The deadline isn't until 6/1. I'm a current HCC student. My pre-req GPA is 3.57 (all A's 1 B and 1 C ), I'm hoping that this is good enough to get me a spot in the program.
What is everyone elses GPA? I heard its lower for the Spring.
My 1st choice is DM nights/weekends. It's realy my only choice, since i need to continue working full time during the program. But if things were different, and i could choose any campus i wanted, i would choose South Shore days. I realy like it there. I like the fact that its a small campus and everyone knows each other. The teachers,administrative staff,and success center tutors are all very good and eager to help at all times. Although both BR and PC campuses are much closer to my house, i still prefer to drive an extra 15 miles to go to SH if my schedule permits.
I need DM. The other campuses would take over 1.5-2 hrs to drive to from my home.
DM and Ybor were my home campus' for years. I'm going to miss it, but I've heard that SS is very nice. I'll trade you if I win the DM lotto and you get SS, mjmh!

I'm so excited time is moving! Hopefully August goes by quickly!
