Hello all HCC Fall 2011 hopefuls! I have been following the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 threads and thought maybe it was time to start Fall 2011 now that the application process has started.
I just turned my application in this past week and received my confirmation notice in the mail. Anyone else out there that has turned in their application?
What are your plans over the next 8 months to prepare for the first semester (provided we get in)?
AHHHH! All of my documents show "received" EXCEPT "Nursing Prerequisites" - not received!!! What should I do???
I'd probably call the nursing office and ask what that means? From your previous posts it sounded like you had taken all the pre-reqs so maybe that file is just still in process ?
Now I'm worried about Microbiology. I took a higher level microbiology course (2000 level) at SCF, but I do have an email from an HCC advisor saved and in this email she stated this class would work for the nursing prerequisite.
I'd call your advisor or you can call the Nursing office and ask what they think. I believe the number I used for the nursing office was 813-253-7366. That should get you to the Nursing program assistant. Good luck !
BTW, my undergraduate from USF is in Micro so I took a higher level course that they accepted so you should be OK.

Sounds like you are OK, they just haven't gotten to the pre-req section yet. Bet it shows "rec'vd" in a few days. Then it's just a waiting game for the next few months.
WOW!!! You all are in better shape than I! The only things showing up received are my transcripts.... grrr. UGH... Hopefully there aren't any issues...
I just sent M.F. an Email because I'm totally confused with whats going on.. my paranoia is getting the best of me ESPECIALLY considering most of your documents are coming up as received!!
Looks like everyone else is in better shape than I am. Nothing is showing up on my accounts under any of the headings. I'm also still showing up as non-degree seeking, and I'm wondering if this is what is making me ineligible?
Did any of you NOT receive a conformation by mail?? I didn't receive one but all of my documents are in order and ADN/Basic Applicant was added to my degree section in Hawknet.....
Mrsgood, I've got nothing so far, I submitted my app on Jan 12. I received my envelope and my check cleared, but nothing has showed up on hawknet and I'm still listed as non-degree seeking. I'm pretty freaked out by it actually.
Loving Life, I turned my app in before Christmas break. All of my stuff says received and my check has cleared but I have yet to receive any conformation via mail. Have you met with an adviser regarding the status of your documents?
