Hello all HCC Fall 2011 hopefuls! I have been following the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 threads and thought maybe it was time to start Fall 2011 now that the application process has started.
I just turned my application in this past week and received my confirmation notice in the mail. Anyone else out there that has turned in their application?
What are your plans over the next 8 months to prepare for the first semester (provided we get in)?
Lovinglife16 - I'm sure everything will be fine. It will be interesting to see what you find out, if anything, about the application process! They seem overwhelmed.
My "Nursing Prerequisites" are STILL the only thing showing up as not received. So frustrating!
I met with an advisor yesterday and she told me that no one need be concerned if their documents aren't showing up on hawknet, bc "they aren't keeping up with it." Also, they have someone new doing the process so it is taking a bit longer.

I'm not sure if this news makes me feel any better! Hopefully this new person is taking longer because they're checking the grades more closely? Perhaps they don't want a bunch of appeals to deal with after the letters go out. Does this mean that we won't find anything out until April? Jeez, I hope not! I stink at the waiting game.
My hopes have been squashed after hearing someone new is dealing with the application process! I was hoping to hear something by the middle of next month but I am thinking that's not going to happen with a new person in charge. I hate being so impatient! It's horrible! I'm not usually one to wish my life away but I can't wait until these weeks are over and we have our answer!
I looked at the forum on here from Fall 2010 hopefuls. They all seem to have gotten their letters the first week of March. However, the adviser at the PC campus told me that they were late in making the selection last year. So, maybe sooner than that??? We can hope right......
