Hello all HCC Fall 2011 hopefuls! I have been following the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 threads and thought maybe it was time to start Fall 2011 now that the application process has started.
I just turned my application in this past week and received my confirmation notice in the mail. Anyone else out there that has turned in their application?
What are your plans over the next 8 months to prepare for the first semester (provided we get in)?
I dropped my application off on the 4th, I would give it a week or so more since they probably did get bombarded with applications.
OK I'll wait a week or two. When I went to drop mine in the mail slot for health sciences, the drop box was absolutely full and I had to jam the application in the slot just to get it in so there had to be a few hundred applications in the queue on the last day. All last minute applicants like me I guess.

Same here. When I went to put it in the slot, it wouldn't fit because I used cardboard envelope. Luckily, a woman walked through the door right when I was jamming it in and she took it and put it in the box on the other side of the wall. They probably thought I was a lunatic and went ahead and shredded my information. :)

I also received an acknowledment. Quick question for you, did you go check your my documents and see if everything was showing on there? Mine still say requesting, so just wanted to see if you had the same issue.
Got my Nursing Acknowledgement form this morning too... My Documents have been looking the exact same way for a while now so... idk lol but i can't wait until March gets here.... ugh

Only a message about a tax form. When did you send in/drop off your application? Has anything shown up under "my documents" on your web advisor?
I dropped my application off on Jan. 4th. I received my postcard on Jan. 10th. As far as the "My Documents" it is still showing requesting. I hear not to worry about it showing that, it just means that they have received the application and are still working on it.
I'm sneaking a post in at work just to say no email yet either for me. The self addressed postcard I got on Saturday after dropping my application off on Thursday. Growing new gray hairs by the day over here.
My "My documents" has been updated finally. I must have checked it 3x a day for the last week! At least now I know they have received my application! Now for the big wait!
