I remember grammar school writing with fountain tip ink pens. Always smeared the ink, and of course, was always receiving teacher comments.

I was in therapy for PTSND (Post-Traumatic Spiral Notebook Disorder) for most of my childhood until I started loose leaf paper.

I just used them backwards so the spiral was on the right!

My son went to loose leaf paper, got way off to the left and turned his hand upside down like some kind of a contortionist. I don't think he's ever learned to cut with scissors.
I also never voluntarily write with a pencil. Pretty sure I have lead poisoning from my childhood of dragging my hand through what I've just written.

Where's Ned Flanders Leftorium when you need it. ???
In UK there is a company called https://www.anythinglefthanded.co.uk/ and I see that you have https://www.leftyslefthanded.com/ in the US.
I have bought many items over the years, pens, knives and corkscrews. I did buy scissors but after so many years using right handed scissors I could not work them. The knives are an absolute joy to use - for the first time I can cut bread straight.
I write with a backwards slant and do ticks backwards. Keeps my hand clean from ink and really, really annoyed my management.
I don't know if it is available in the US but I get left handed cheque books from my bank.
As a PS to this; have you noticed that the "thumbs up" emoji is left handed?
Pro Tip for lefty little ones: Bent-handle nurses/ medic scissors are way easier for them to use.
We didn't have those when Little Sonnet was struggling to learn to cut. We had great big ones. He'd say "Mommy, you hold the paper" and try to use both hands.
