HESI Test at SC4 in Mich

:uhoh21: Has anyone taken the HESI as a pre-enterance exam? At SC4 they use this test to pick who they admit into the RN program. I'm nervous about it and any information about the test, test guides, study hints, any information at all I would greatly appreciate! Thank you in advance!

When are the test dates scheduled? I am not applying this year, but i figured i would give it a trial run.

Hi, I am taking the HESI test tomorrow:uhoh21:and I have been using the studyguide on their main website. This is what most of the posters say is the best to use, and is the example of what is on the test. I am not in the same state as you, but I can come on and give you some hints after I take the test if you would like. Also there are a few threads about this from people who have already taken the test, you should do a search. ;)

I believe the test dates are January 13-15. I'm not exactly sure about the day but I know they are around those days in January.

I hope you did good on your HESI test and I would appreciate any info you could give me! Thanks, I'll try doing a search!!!

Is that an on-line study guide, or the printed study guide you can get at Amazon?

Did they tell you which sections you have to take? All of them, just reading and math, Chem, Bio, A&P, etc.? If you have that info, at least you can focus your studying a bit more.

I took the Hesi yesterday at SC4 and was a little dissapointed with my score. The math was very easy, the A & P was tough, the study guide did not help much with that section.

When are you taking your test? Do you have any ideal what the lowest test score was that they took last year for nursing students?

I just talked with a girl I work with, she's casual, we got talking about nursing school. She is in the program at SC4. She said that she failed one section and still was accepted into the program.

I signed up to take my test on the 10th of Jan @ SC4. The info they gave me said the sections that they test on are Reading, Grammar, Vocabulary, A&P, Math, Learning Styles, and Personality Profile.

Good Luck!! Just a little tip, the math was very easy. Spend time studying the A & P and be careful with Reading Comprehension. I can't wait to see if I get accepted. How many prereq's do you have done?

Like most of you who have taken it I found the A & P section to be hard. I just finished BIO 171 and thought I would have done better. I got at least 80% in all sections but I wish my score was a little higher. Does anyone know if they have decided for sure how much importance SC4 is placing on this test?

I just took the HESI at SC4 on jan 2. It was very scary going into it. BUt, once I sat down I felt okay about it.I read your post about your co-worker failing a section of the HESI. Did she happen to mention what sec she failed and what her GPA was? I am just curious what the lowest score is that they accepted last year. I just am praying that I get in. Any info that you or anyone else has about the program would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
