  1. I just talked with a girl I work with, she's casual, we got talking about nursing school. She is in the program at SC4. She said that she failed one section and still was accepted into the program. I signed up to take my test on the 10th of Jan @ SC4. The info they gave me said the sections that they test on are Reading, Grammar, Vocabulary, A&P, Math, Learning Styles, and Personality Profile.
  2. I believe the test dates are January 13-15. I'm not exactly sure about the day but I know they are around those days in January. I hope you did good on your HESI test and I would appreciate any info you could give me! Thanks, I'll try doing a search!!!
  3. :uhoh21: Has anyone taken the HESI as a pre-enterance exam? At SC4 they use this test to pick who they admit into the RN program. I'm nervous about it and any information about the test, test guides, study hints, any information at all I would greatly appreciate! Thank you in advance!
  4. Good for you!
  5. On my first day of clinicals the first thing I was checked off on was male pericare. I thought it would be really embarassing, which it was but it wasn't as bad as I thought. You just have to go in with a professional attitude and get it done as fast and efficiently as possible while doing it the correct way. My instructor said she can do entire pericare in 3 minutes. But usually if you are in a LTCF with elderly residents, most men need a lot of stimulis to get an erection. And if something is said I agree that you should report it and say that you don't appreciate the remarks. Good Luck!
  6. In Michigan you can work as a CNA for 4 months but then you have to take the State certification. If you don't work you have up to a year to take your test.
  7. I'm a CNA student right now, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that we (CNA's) were NOT allowed to insert/remove foleys???
  8. I like Johnson & Johnson's intensive care lotion that lasts through multipule washings and a little goes a long way
