I'm so sorry. I'd be scared, too. But, HIV treatment is improving all the time. Find a good health care provider and start treatment. Also, are there any HIV advocacy groups in your area? These can be of tremendous help and support.

early tx and diligent care are the keys in controlling this
get a doctor that in knowledgable and whom you trust, get in a support group, getting the most up date tx is imperative and with more people on the look out will increase your chances
make sure that you are off an organ donor list
use condoms to protect others
good luck

I think it was in England recently that a doctor was able to " cure " AIDS by using Bone Marrow. The patient has consistantly tested negative for the disease over and over again. ALL of his HIV/AIDS meds have been stopped. Fascinating from a medical standpoint. Miraculous for mankind. Very sad this happened to you. Keep your head up!

Of course you're scared; I would be, also. I echo what others have said. And, please please please locate an HIV health provider.
