...not a real human one, though. Or even a fuzzy one.
I'm a BLS instructor, among the many things I do, and all my CPR mannequins have names. It was purely for my own amusement at first, but then I found that once I told my students their mannequin had a name, they got attached to it in many cases. Human pack mentality can be so funny. (For those who care, the four-pack of adult mannequins are John, Paul, George, and Ringo, the three in the other carrying bag are Moe, Larry, and Curly and the lone ranger that hangs out mostly in the trunk of my car is Roderick. I actually didn't name him; someone just called him that during a Code Blue drill. "Rod the Bod" does sound pretty cool, though.)
I had one infant mannequin, Annie (even though she's a not a Laerdal)...finally got a second. Hence this post. She needs a name of her own. (And she's a girl, because she's wearing one of my niece's old outfits. ) I've been drawing a blank since I picked her up from the training center. So...hit me with your best shot. Puns gleefully considered.

As some of you may know and some of you don't, I'm Swedish.
I suggest Liv
That means LIFE in Swedish and I can't think of a more suitable name for a CPR mannequin :)
It's a Swedish/Norwegian name but I know that Steven Tyler's daughter (Aerosmith's lead singer) is actress and movie producer Liv Tyler, so perhaps the name works in the U.S. as well.
(Edit, oops.. I only read the OP before responding and I now see that you already have a winner. Good name :))
Avalyn...Ava for short. :-DI'm diggin' it.
YOU WIN THE PRIZE, KALLIE.

As for everyone else's great suggestions (and alternate spellings!), you deserve a little something, too.

Yay!! I'm never the winner!! I'm printing this and putting it above my desk!
YOU WIN THE PRIZE KALLIE!
Yes, congratulations, Kallie.
Listen, I've got some serious news to relay to you all. There was a plot to kidnap Ava.
Yes, I know: Shocking.
But worry not, my allnurses friends, I have dealt with the situation. I located an obviously edited photograph with a note from the culprit I sure he (or she) was going to post:

This was a plot conceived probably by some Help Me Name My Baby Contest loser. And a loser they will be if they ever attempt such a fiendish plot!
I have arranged a security detail to be on guard 24/7 until this lowlife is apprehended and charged to the fullest extent of the law.
The names of the the three guards are "Pedi", Culo", and "Sis". They work out of a security company by the name of "Mutant Ninja Lice".
Well, we can all rest better now...
