Thinking of you!

I freaked out and ended up with all 265 questions, but I got the good popup!

Ok, so your qt 3 4 and 5, sample 3 and 4 were very similar to mine and I passed in May. The only suggestion I have for you is hit safety and infection control hard, and management of care as well. Those are huge components and know that like the back of your hand. Use the decision tree and you will do great. Good luck!

I am very happy to hear this! Congratulations, enjoy what you have accomplished. Now use this good feeling you have and go find a job!!!!!

Oh, forgot a little bad news. It may not be every state BON but for my state they send you this little wallet card as a license and if you want a full size license to frame they want another 25.00!!

Rob, what state are you in? I have no idea what they do here. Our BON is slow. They have not updated licenses since Tuesday. I am very glad for quick results!

Congrats!!!!! I came to allnurse looking for exactly this information and you had exactly what I needed!! Thanks so much! I am preparing to take my NCLEX early next month (July 2014)and I was lost as to what I needed to study so I have been using Kaplan and Saunders as guides but I just didn't feel like it was a enough. but your post has given me a lot of hope:writing:. Thanks a bunch!!

Smile. you are welcome! I am sure you will do great!

You give me sooooo much hope. My scores were similar to yours!

I know this is a bit older post, but how did you get over obsessing with scores? Right now I feel like a complete loser with my scores :(

I have gone back and looked at all the rationales. I know my weakness is medications, because all the names and side effects start to blur together. Any tricks? I am doing these in a short amount of time and some really late at night and I can see my scores reflect this. I am also bad about second guessing myself and changing my answers. I am scheduled to test in 4 days and I feel like maybe I am ready and maybe I am not (has to do with these darn scores!) Any suggestions?

wow, so surprised someone brought back this post, it seems like it was another lifetime ago!

I didn't stop obsessing until I found out I passed. I did use pharm flash cards because I was also weak in meds. Your scores are actually a bit better than mine were and I passed first time. I don't think anyone ever feels ready. I did send my scores to the Kaplan instructor who did my live class and she thought I looked good enough to pass, if you have that option, do it! it really boosts your confidence. It's too late for you to order the flash cards online, but perhaps you can pick some up at a bookstore. That really helped me.

Best of luck!
