Hello! Who Is Taking Their Nclex Exam End Of July

Published

I was wondering if there is anybody taking their Nclex Exam at the end of July and would like to be held accountable in making sure that they complete a set amount of question per day? I would like for us to login/check into the forum every day if posssible to say that you have completed your questions for that day.

I struggle with doing at least 100 questions a day! I am hoping that there is another person who could benefit from being held accountable.

Thanks in advance!

@assess, I'm using labs that my schools nclex review gave us

a handy dandy 'card' that I made into flash cards

Specializes in Peds.

Oztizz184, labs from school, nice. My school uses ATI and I like exam cram index I carry it everywhere :) it works

Which lab valves are you focusing on since there are so many ?

for the rn one, the card has everything, blood, liver, kidney, nutrition, urine, the whole shabang!

Taking my NCLEX this Saturday!!! Can't believe its almost here! wow !

do any of you feel like after you review content and start doing questions, you forget all the content in your memory?!

i feel like my brain just emptied itself and nothings there right now! scoring low too on my quizzes :(

any advice?

edit: GOOD LUCK XXIANGEL!! let us know after!

Good LUCK!!!!!!!!! Commit yourself to the good Lord! You are already an RN :)

I'm testing tomorrow! Just finished the last of my kaplan qbank questions and I'm officially done with questions (kaplan, hurst, lacharity, and few saunders here and there....the brain is fried!!!)

For the rest of the day (I'm in CA) I plan to go over the study guide (not endorsed by you know who), lab values and do a few math problems! I go up and down with emotions, but am so ready to get this over with....the anticipation of what to expect of this test is driving me crazy!! I told myself that I wasn't going to do too much today...ended doing a lot. Oh well....the time has come! Please say a prayer for all of us testing tomorrow (I'll be returning the favor)!

Congrats to those of you who've passed thus far!! And good luck with studying to those yet to test!!

@LeanJess & Oztizz..Thank you! That means a lot.

I suffer from rapidly forgetting content. I found that doing exercises on the content studied right after studying n then repeating the same exercises everyday for a few days in a row does the trick for me. Unfortunetly short sprints of spaced out repetition is the only way my brain stores information in the long term memory. Time consuming, but very effective. oh well, "we can only play with the toys we are given..."

Also I use memory triggers (mnemonics, visuals, rhymes), and write down labs over n over so that I can remember info.

Good Luck Mya! I cant concentrate much anymore, i think its because of nerves. I would pass nclex if it was like the practice questions I get on Saunders or nclex-3500rn, or 3000pn. Im pretty good at those, and sometimes good at guessing when I dont know an answer. Let us know when you are done if it was anything like you expected. I take my nclex on Friday.
