Hello! Who Is Taking Their Nclex Exam End Of July

Published

I was wondering if there is anybody taking their Nclex Exam at the end of July and would like to be held accountable in making sure that they complete a set amount of question per day? I would like for us to login/check into the forum every day if posssible to say that you have completed your questions for that day.

I struggle with doing at least 100 questions a day! I am hoping that there is another person who could benefit from being held accountable.

Thanks in advance!

I feel like a dummy now... I have been studying and doing questions and also rationals and I thought I understood them but just did Qt3 and I got 54% what?? Its lower then my last two tests??? I am freaking out now, might change my test date... ughhhh!!!:banghead:

Hey July test-takers!! I took my test today and my screen shut off at 75!! took me about 90mins and I keep getting the good pop up!! My test was hard as all get out!! All OB, Meds, and therapeutic communication! I had no math, two exhibits and only 5 (yes FIVE) SATA!! But I've done the pvt about 15 times and still getting the good pop up!!

I did Kaplan for questions and Hurst for content. My scores are below. I hope this helps!! Keep doing questions, reading the rationales, and praying!! And when you're done praying, pray some more!! Good luck to all of you! I will be praying for you guys!! God is good!

Kaplan Scores

Diagnostic 49% (which sent me into a panic and led me straight to Hurst for some content)

QT 1 69%

QT 2 69%

QT 3 53% (another panic moment)

QT 4 62%

QT 5 65%

QT 6 69%

QT 7 67%

Readiness 61%

Qbank (100% complete) 61%

Kaplan Sample NCLEX tests

Test 1 72%

Test 2 58%

Test 3 80%

Hurst Sample Tests (only did 3 out of the 6)

Test 1 64% (80/125)

Test 2 69.6% (87/125)

Test 3 74.4% (93/125)

Also used Lacharity and the study guide (not endorsed by you know who). I only did about 10 chapters in Lacharity and scored anywhere from the 60s-90s!!

And I studied for about 5 weeks.

What did you do the day before your exam? Im just feeling so burnt out. I feel that I either know it or dont at this point. Many of my friends said studying didnt help them. Would you change anything if you could go back the last day before your exam? I was thinking of doing 100 questions tommorow and calling it a day. What do you think>?

I studies like heck all day the day before. I was told not to, but I know myself n I just had to. I'm glad I did...

Anne36 - I said I wasnt going to study but just look over the study guide the day before! I ended up studying all damn day yesterday and even woke up this morning going over lab values and few random things like antidotes and what not! I could barely sleep last night! My advice is do whatever you think will best help you relax! While I told myself I wasn't going to study tough yesterday, the thought of letting time pass and not utilize it to at least look over things gave me more anxiety - so doing questions yesterday was my stress reliever if that makes any sense!!

Im testing on the 27th and Im excited but starting to self doubt. Im starting to think, I need more time.. But I know that's just the anxiety kicking in.

Ive gone over the Kaplan book again today and probably done at least 300 questions. When you answer questions are you really thinking about the kaplan steps? I just dont, I think the questions I get are too easy and I just shoot to an answer. I just did the OB nclex-3000 and got 89%. Im dumb, Im focusing on stuff I know Im good at. I should practice the Pediatric tommorow. I hate to say it but I kind of give up on oncology and immune. It seems like most of those questions are about medications and its just impossible to know them all.

Wed: 11 chapters in saundars, 165 questions

1 more day to go, hope I can sleep tonight. Last night I didnt sleep well. Going to do one last review today and some practice questions. I'll let you all know how it goes tommorow night.

Yah!!! Good job! Congrads!!!!

You guys are not going to believe this. I have NCLEX tommorow and I dont know whats wrong with me, but I honestly feel ill. Started yesterday, just a slightly nauseated feeling with a lot of fatigue. I dont think its stress related. I havent slept well, but have gotten enough sleep it shouldnt be related to that. I just feel sick like I need to lay down. Ive been eating normally and I know Im not pregnant. Im going to be early tonight and see if I can sleep it off.
