I was wondering if there is anybody taking their Nclex Exam at the end of July and would like to be held accountable in making sure that they complete a set amount of question per day? I would like for us to login/check into the forum every day if posssible to say that you have completed your questions for that day.
I struggle with doing at least 100 questions a day! I am hoping that there is another person who could benefit from being held accountable.
Thanks in advance!
Just added Lacharity to my study tools so that means Kaplan onine review, Hurst content lectures, Saunder's comprehensive, Saunder's Q&A and now Lacharity. I have read so many good comments about this book so I purchased it for priority questions but I have not looked at it yet. This will be my second attempt so I am trying to stay focused and not to become so overwhelmed. (I had a lot of priority questions last time).I do not want to be all over the place with studying! My main focus is Kaplan but I read that some people failed with JUST Kaplan so I plan on being ready. Doing only 100 questions a day so I will not overload my brain. (I did over 3,000 the first time). I am going slow so that I will know and understand what I am reading about.
Peds done! Sooo happy about that. It was my weakest subject, and it's a bit of a general review for all adult health As well so I figured it was a good place to start. Saunders questions don't seem to require much critical thinking, mostly just recall. Can't afford Kaplan though, so I will have to find An alternative. Going to skim all the fundamental chapters in Saunders today.
Did NCBSN diagnostic test for the 2nd time (150 questions..and 3.5 hours down the drain). Just wanted to gauge how far I have come with studying and stuff. The first time in May, I got a 61% and today I scored a 72%. This is not the passing grade for NCBSN mind you (it's 75%) but it gave me some confidence that I kinda studied good. A 11% point difference! (Not a big deal..but it's for me). I test on Monday..will keep doing questions till Sunday evening.
I'm thinking about reading up on cardiac strips..but again..I'm like how about after reading it and it doesn't show up on the NCLEX? Ha! the beauty of it..NOT!

I am taking the test the same day as you are. I feel the same way too. I've been doing lots of questions, like yesterday I did 200 and today I'm planning to do the same. It is really driving my anxiety level at the top.
