  1. I know that I am suppose to be a advocate for my patients but I am trying my BEST to keep from punching the man in room 303!!
  2. I studied about 4 to 6 hours a day. I did about 100 to 150 questions a day, which included reviewing my wrong answers. I used Kaplan classroom online review, Kaplan strategies green book, LaCharity and NCSBN questions. I only did practice questions and reviewed rationals while concentrating on my technique for answer ing the questions. (which is in the Kaplan green book). I took my time and read each question, re-worded them while asking myself what they are asking. Then I eliminate the two that are wrong and then reinstate the question with each answer that is left. I prayed everyday before the test, during and after. That is the most important part of my study habit to me. Take each question slow and breathe deeply. When you ate taking the test make sure you take your break to refresh your eyes and brain. Take your time but at the same time give yourself a minute or minute and a half per question so that your time will not run out. This is what I did when I took the test because I failed it once so I changed my study habits and they worked for me. Find out what your style is and go from there.
  3. That's how I felt! I just want my RN license number!
  4. So after all my qbanks where used up, all I had left was incorect ones, that was my reivew the last week and the week of my test date. My rational was if I got the answer right, then there was no reason to review unless I guessed at the answer, then I would review. LaCharity is good with PDA! The first time I took the test I had lot of priority. This time I also had alot but also delegation. I used the same technique with that book as well. I just covered up my answers before looking at the question and then right the anser down on a piece of paper. I only used these two sources and Kaplan strategies and practice book (green one) even though I had all of the ones that you listed. I did not take Kaplan the first time, I did my own with Saunders and I failed. I think Saunders questions did not prepare me for how the NCLEX questions are set written and set up, Kaplan did!! I hope this helps.
  5. I passed the second time on the 11th of this month I had the same sources that you listed. I did my review a little different. After taking my 110 questions the day before, the next day I would go into the qbank and instead of selecting unused questions, I selected incorrect questions. I looked at the reason why I missed that question the day I took it but I found out that when I did a test with only the ones that I missed I remembered them better and also the reason why I missed it in the first place.
  6. Your grades are very similar to mine and I passed even though I had 183 questions. Just remember to slow down, take deep breathes and pray!! You have good grades. Kaplan says 60 on qt 6 and qt7 so you are doing great!!
  7. Kaplan says to aim for 65 for qt 1-5 and 60 on qt 6-7. BY looking at your scores and your readiness scores, you are more than ready!!! You got this on Friday!
  8. Congrats guys!!!! GOD IS AWESOME!!!!:yelclap:
  9. God got you, just be calm when you take the test and take breaks, either the ones given or take your own. I did not do it the first time but I did it the second time. You need to rest your eyes and give your brain time to wind down. Don't over due it. But I had 183 questions. Now go get it!!
  10. I ended my statement with "most of all God" because I know where my blessings come from! He gets all the glory in my life every day! Always has and always will!
  11. Thanks everyone and I am in South Carolina!
  12. Go ahead and take the test! Your scores are way better than mine!
  13. Thank you! Congrats to you as well!! :w00t:
  14. My results are posted, i passed the nclex rn exam!! Thank you again to this wonderful site and to the ones that shared their notes and ideas and gave me some ecouragement!!! I will play it forward!!! But most of all thank you god!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Yes I used Kaplan for review and content. The study guide on this site is awesome!! I also used NCSBN questions only. I had LaCharity PDA and Kaplan strategies and practice book (green one). Kaplan really helped me this time. Their questions where more like NCLEX than Saunders. With God and Kaplan, it happened!!
