Well, at least one holiday is over. I know that I have gained some weight, but we will see how much on Friday. As promised, I will post good or bad! I hope everyone else out there is doing well!!!Sincerely,

Hi Zoe, Tweety, and everyone,
Did well today. Today was a 5 vegetable serving kinda day. Basically all the meals were healthy. Ds2 and I completed our walk again this morning, which is a great way to start our homeschool day.
Hurray, ds2 is starting to read. Ds1 is doing well in school. Dh is so very honorable.
Zoe, I understand whatcha mean.

Just checkin in.
Fed the kids cereal for breakfast. I ate an avocado and drank a cup of coffee.
Ate turkey sandwich with corn and wheat thins. Ds2 had ham sandwich without preservatives and wheat thins. Ds2 had a chocolate chip cookie for desert.
Homeschool done for the day. Time to cook dinner.
No time for a walk this morning. Maybe this afternoon/evening.

looks like even if you are hitting the gym/exercising your little ticker out the wazoo, if you sit a lot, your bod will hang onto fat. more research to follow.
i just joined ww sat. after thanksgiving - the real face-to-face one. online wasn't cutting it. week one in progress, will keep you posted. am sticking to it, though, and i feel better already. lotsa veggies, doin the core program. not as expensive here, but there is some sort of special going on - $40/month. if it works (has in the past), it's worth it to me.
joined ww just prior to a trip to the er for a raging case of bacterial conjunctivitis! no pink eye for me, went straight to the nasty stuff. my eyes looked like i was dracula's bride. too bad it wasn't halloween! much better now thanks to drops (sclera and conjunctiva were realllllyyyyy macerated, some periorbital edema too) but i can't wear my contacts quite yet. yes, i tossed the old ones, lens case too, along with all makeup, etc. dh has it too now, a few days behind me. did i think to ask for a script for him while in the er, just in case? of course not. would they give me one now? of course not.
1.5 weeks 'til holiday break from school! pharm class is going really well. whoulda thunk it - it's never been my favorite topic, but i am liking this class.
good to catch up - will check in again sooner than later!!!

I've been good sticking to the veggie (high carb) diet since Thanksgiving and a couple of pounds are off. Today's a cover dish at work and I'm bringing hot wings, so there goes the diet today. :)
Anyone see Ophra yesterday? At the gym I watched a bit while doing cardio. She featured people with massive weight losses, some in excess of 200 lbs. doing it the old fashioned way with diet and exercise.

Bluehair and Muffie, I've done well with WW, too. That's the plan I intend to start again on my own in a couple of weeks. But you can't get the guides s joining.

Wow, you guys have been busy. Well, no weight loss for me, but I think I'm pre PMS, so I'm all bloated, so no surprise there (sorry guys). Still exercising like crazy though - I'm doing an hour a day, no slacking, so that is good and I feel much better. I can see a difference in my leg tone and it is really nice to see - I forgot what shape legs were supposed to be, LOL! I really need to work on my thighs and my tummy, and I still need to lose weight to get past the "overweight" part, but I am feeling a lot better and so that is keeping me motivated!
Sorry this is short guys, we are in test crunches, I have a simulator lab tomorrow, and our final is next week, so it's craziness right now!

checkin in.
1 cup hot cocoa venti, and strawberry banana yogurt for breakfast.
Not hungry for lunch. Ate too late at breakfast time.
Walk completed. This time it was a walk run. We were running late for school. Turned out good for me and the child was on time.
ds2 and I finished the walk; then went to Kindergarten club.
ds2 had BK lounge for lunch; but that is much better considering the past.
Gotta run take out the chicken to thaw for dinner. Last night, ended up being pancakes and corn. No hot cocoa for desert last night.

Yes, that, but I am also referring to the fact that getting in and out of clothes and doing the paperwork can be tough too!
The other day I was in the BR at church and trying not to audibly breathe hard, trying to get the durn nylons where they belonged! and I'm sure my face was red afterwards from the effort!
Makes me feel stupid just saying all that. Some is girth but some is conditioning.

Same w/ me w/ the OA and FA food plans - 8 oz of veg and 8 oz of salad for lunch, AND dinner, and after maintenance, a fruit w/ each meal too! I developed biceps in my jaws...
That ticks me off that it is so expensive. But our dear muffie has had a lot of success w/ it!
Do you have those instead of a meal?
I don't get - shakes, bkfst and granola bars, candy, cereal - how they can make them low carb lol - they are sweet!
