ya, ima kinda thrilled
please keep the chins up and keep at it
one day at a time gets you there eventually
Congrats Muffie!!!!! Go to the pet store and pick up a bag of dog/cat food that weighs about that much and carry it around for a minute or so. It's nice to have the direct comparison on how much you used to lug around all the time.
PS - Whatever you did last week, I want to do too.

Congratulations Blue! What up w/ Marge? (your avatar) She is green and mean?

Silly girl - Marge is mad about having to shovel snow again and again and again and again.
Will need to find a better Holiday Marge.
:icon_razz:
Oh I didn't see the end of the shovel. I hate that these avis are so small. Or as they say in Joisey, Smoooo-all... lol
(Laughing at myself - I don't know if they REALLY say it like that ... heh heh)
Hi everyone,
Just checking in.
Congrats to everyone who is losing weight.
You guys help me to stay motivated in a good way.
Ate yogurt for breakfast. walked with little ds2 and had prayer time with friends.
Lunch included learning how to count money by tens and ones; eating Del Taco burrito the classic one without all the rice/beans; and teaching ds2 about birds and gardening. Tomorrow we will review, with the books and worksheets, all of today's adventures.
Dinner was junky. We ate at Denny's. I had chicken noodle soup and a BLT. Even that is better than my past choices though.
So all in all, better dietary choices today.
If I can just get back to more veggies, but hey, it's only Tuesday night.

One more measly pound, total of 11. It is hard to keep going! But I'm not working all that hard, either ... all I'm doing is staying away from the sugar and flour, and trying to get some veg.; in there which is REALLY hard, gentle, like you!
(((((((((( gentle )))))))))
Hello everyone.
Here to check in.
I had green tea lemonade with artificial sweetener for brkft.
Chicken salad sandwich with lays chips for lunch. Dessert for lunch was the all bran crackers and 2 cups of chocolate soy milk. Oh well, I'll keep trying. Eventually, one way or another I will get all this weight off my body.
Dinner was 1brat with 1-2 servings of asparagus.
Dessert was 3cups of chocolate soy-milk.
Exercise today consisted of a short run/walk session. It is my usual route but was shortened with no children to chase or corrall (?sp).
Having difficulty using the left leg. not sure why it just doesn't seem to run correctly. I am going to try to retrain my brain how to use the leg and foot. The left leg is shorter than the right one so we'll see how this goes first.
no weight lost; but no weight gained either. And that is okay by me considering we are in the holiday season .
I think tomorrow, I will try to plan snacks. I need to get to the grocery store though. This is also part of the problem for now anyway.
Well, no matter what, I have spinach in the freezer.
Went to the movies last night and stopped by the Ben & Jerry's ice cream store. It was good. I guess I could have gotten a fruit smoothie, or a Italian Ice, but didn't. My bad.
That's okay, Tweety. I know you want the 15lbs off and it will come off. It really will.
It seems I've lost my committment and willpower to 100% stick to the diet, that it's just in spots. I might have to wait until the new year to 100% commit. I'm having a party this weekend and will not diet then either. But if I had a few healthy meals/days in there, I'll be o.k.
I have found sometimes that 100% dietary commitment isn't necessarily present when I want it to be. Just work with what you can in the mean time. Give your body, mind, and soul time to rejuvenate all the while continuing to work in those healthy meals as often as possible. And not just for the number on the scale or for the "good-looking tooshie in the jeans." (Yeah, you guys do that too.) You want the strength and energy of your body.
I wish that I had that understanding in the past. I sure wouldn't be standing on the scale and muttering now. Oh well, I can't change the past.
Besides, we're all going to make it to our individual goals, as long as we are persistent.
Hugs Tweety.
