I'm doing well. I didn't give into any junk food. A family member brough some muffins, which are high fat, bad carbs and I resisted, but they looked good. I went to the gym after work. That was tough because I was tired. I had to come home first to meet a painter, next time I'll go straight from work and see if that feels better.

I had a "moment" yesterday. When assessing a sweet LOL COPD'er, I noticed a dozen eggs on the windowsill - chocolate marshmallow Easter eggs, that is!! But I pushed away the desire to snatch them and run. Ate my salad (and homegrown tomato - yum!) instead, and didn't feel the least bit self-righteous or deprived.
It's just weird how I'm doing OK and then I'll see something I used to enjoy, and it hits me like a cigarette craving when I first quit smoking.
So now my thinking is that yes, those things used to taste good, but I'm not eating to taste any more; I'm eating to be healthier and lose weight.
I had soup and tuna sandwich for supper (and also brunch) yesterday.
I have to be careful which uniform shirts I wear now. I can't wear my white one, because the only way I can keep the pants up is to hike them up to my chest and you can see the dark pants through the shirt.
Maybe I need suspenders. Because I don't want to have to go buy a whole new set of uniforms with every size change, KWIM? I just don't want to spend the money right now.

Hi guys! Sorry, I haven't had a chance to read a thing, but just wanted to let y'all know I'm still here, just super swamped right now. I'm doing good, although not sure where my weight is now because I need to weigh, but I'm going to try to fit that in tomorrow.

Hi Sarah, Zoe, and everyone.
I had a nice piece of fish last night with some mashed potato and steamed spinach.
I went shopping yesterday (details in the journal). I got some pudding and Jello snacks and traded half my oatmeal for a couple of sugar-free puddings.
I need to start doing a little more exercise than jumping around to "Chaiyya Chaiyya" every morning, I suppose, but I'm quite winded after that and the neighbors are probably ready to call the cops because I've been playing it from the Inside Man movie (because we have a pretty good surround sound system) at concert-level decibels. It's just such a joyful song and I can really dance to it. It's been years since I really danced and I used to be pretty good at it.

I'm after the water too this morning. I lost all my pms weight - I really think it was water weight - plus 2 lbs, so yeay! I am down now 17 lbs. from where I started and am feeling really good! 3 more lbs. to reach my first goal of 20 - WooHoo!!! Then my next goal will be 16 lbs. because that will get me to where I was last summer & I was really feeling good then. I was still overweight, but I can work from there once I get to that point, right now I just want to get there. :)
Thanks for the reminder, muffie. I usually drink a bottle of water first thing when I get up, but I forgot this morning.
Hi Sarah, glad to hear you're having such good results!
I just had to share this: I found a DVD back in the dusty reaches of the entertainment center, called "Walk Fit" and it's the first workout that I could actually do on the first try. It's only 20 minutes long. I don't feel too exhausted to go to work today, yet it was 20 minutes of aerobic exercise.
So I'm looking forward to continuing with that daily. I'm thinking that if I increase my exercise, that I won't have to cut back too drastically on my calories.
