Zoe, as I'm squeezing into my jean shorts (yes, it's still summer in Florida) I can feel your pain. :)

I posted in my blog that sometime this past week I "forgot" I had started my diet. There was a lot of bad food at work this week, and my dinner party threw me off and then Friday I was eating a pint of Hagan Daas and it his me "didn't I start a diet? Don't I have 15 pounds to lose?"

So today is Day #2. Wish me luck. Maybe Muffie will inspire me!

Yep, my brother in FL so painfully reminded me last nite why he doesn't want to be here ... lol (he's in Clearwater)

I've had that happen to me too, where I forgot I was on a diet - it's odd isn't it? Our subconscious says "I'll get em when they LEAST expect it ... mwahh hah hahhh..."

Yep, I had to give away half a trash bag of food and throw away the other half. It's worth it because I still go foraging late at night going hmmm, what can I have? And if it's something "bad" it's "good", know what I mean?

Went out to lunch w/ my stepmom and I was good. She treated! Definitely sweet ;)

Hi guys! Thanks for the warm welcomes back!!! :)

Yesterday I studied almost non-stop all day, until my friend dragged me out of the house for a power-walk. At first I was a little annoyed, doesn't he know that I have three tests, two papers and a discussion due this week? However, once we got going I could have hugged him, that was exactly what I needed to re-oxygenate my brain and give me a break in the day! When we got back, I felt rejuvinated and ready to hit the books again!

Well sorry, this is short and sweet, but school is insane right now, so I'll check back in with you later . . . back to one of my many projects!!!

Take care everybody, have a happy, healthy day!!! :D

sddlnscp, I know it's tough but you gotta take time for yourself. One thing I stuck with during my ADN program was jobbing every other day for an hour, not matter what. It was as important as school. I graduated with honors, passed NCLEX, and took care of myself. Imagine that?

Muffie, there rarely is any bad food in my house, so the trip for to fridge reveals nothing but healthy food. My downfall is food at work, eating out, and getting a pint of ice cream while I'm filling up the car.

I'm sticking with it so far. Please keep encouraging me!!!

HA HA HA! very good :D

Well I was 21 1/2 lb away from meeting Muffie's goal last Mond - lol

I am just so sick of buying plus size clothing that is made for 6' tall women, considering I'm less than 5'.

Well, you're darn close then :). See, I was right!

I'm little, too (that's the advantage of being short . . . you can say you're little vertical-wise and just not go into all the details of the horizontal setting ;). They have more petite clothing now than they used to, but it's sometimes very limiting, yes? Especially with long sleeves--I definitely don't have to wear mittens in the winter :D.

Woo hoo! You're even closer than you were in the last post :D.

Don't study yourself too hard, Sarah! Yeah, I know. Easy to say. I'm getting ready to apply to some BSN programs now, I'm just not sure I want to do it!
