Muff, it might be a bit slower now that you've been at it for a while. Quit weighing so often. :)

I hope to go to the gym this afternoon after work. We'll see because it's Monday and easy to talk myself out of it and I have some other errands to run as well.

That's good Muff before I posted I noticed the dates of your post seemed closer together. Nonetheless once a week is good. Don't fret and keep on keeping on!

I did manage to go to the gym yesterday. I'm starting back to yoga and bought a 10-class pass to make myself go. I'm sure the class tonight is going to be very difficult, it's Power Yoga, which is 1.5 hours of tortuous hell. What was I thinking? And me not having been in a class in almost a year.

1.5 HRS? I thought yoga was supposed to be relaxing??

Tweety, good for you!

I didn't lose even a lb this week but I am still at it. I guess I have to put more effort in!

We should start a Fat March and meet in the middle, think we could get anyone to sponsor us?

;)

Well, I can't really sponsor this, but count me in on the march :D

And no, the birthday cake was not for me, thank goodness, LOL. I'm finding my birthdays are coming closer and closer together as it is ;).

Hey Muffie et Tweety! You guys inspire me.

I wish they had a yoga or pilates class for out of shape fluffies who were new to the activity. I just don't want to take classes with those who look like they don't need it, LOL.

I survived the class. Zoe, it is relaxing towards the end when you're in "corpse pose" but intense otherwise. I amost fell asleep, I was so corpse like at the end. It actually went reasonably well. My wrists and shoulders were quite weak, and I couldn't do many of the poses fully, but it's a start. I was the only guy in there which is unusual. The instructor was a guy though. Hiker, I know what you mean, evenone in the class was in shape and bone thin.

"Corpse" position, I can only imagine lol... That would be me for REAL!

Hi guys! Oh my gosh, it has been soooooooooo long since I've been here. I'm sorry about the long absence, life has been insane and the computer has been on the bottom of my "to do" list. Sorry sorry.

I have resigned myself to realizing that I will never get caught back up so I'm not gonna try, I'll just start again fresh. :)

Well, let's see, for the past couple of months I have been in Patho and we have our final in that class next Tuesday. I just started my RN year Med/Surg on Saturday and am ready to jump head-long into that one with great excitement and anticipation! They required us to do IV check-offs again as a refresher and I passed that first try, so that was a real triumph for me (especially given that I work in a non-medical setting for now and haven't attempted an IV since clinicals last year). WooHoo! Over the summer I also managed to get myself elected President of our school's SNA, so that is exciting!

Ok, on the health note, I have actually been doing really good. I hope I don't fall off the wagon with the stress of full-blown nursing classes again, but I really feel teriffic right now so I'm hoping that will keep me motivated. I've been walking anywhere from 2-5 miles every day and I have lost 3 pant sizes since I was last on here, so I am feeling incredible! One more size loss and I will be where I was at in high school, which is still a little overweight, but nowhere near where I was and then I can work from there. It felt so good to put on my scrubs from last year and they were actually loose - WooHoo!!! I have actually scrapped the low-carb diet and I am eating pretty much what I want, but keeping it healthy. That paired with the exercise seems to be working better for me than anything else has - yeay!

Hope everything is well with all of you, I'll try to do better about keeping up, but with the RN year getting ready to hit me full-swing, I guarantee nothing. I have missed you all soooooooooooooo much though!

Have a fabulous day everybody!
