Blue...I totally understand where you are coming from on the buzzards. Everything has a reason and a talent (?). Until I had bats, I would have wondered about someone wanting to watch them, but they are amazing to see in flight....sounds like the same with the buzzards.

I am hoping that we can see some wildlife while the in-laws are here. It is so beautiful to come across deer grazing at the road side and turkeys crossing the road, although, there are times I wish they would waddle a little faster...lol

Zoe....I think the other nurses are watching her, she apparently will take instruction/help from them.....she has a problem with me being a traveler. There is only one position open where I am at (the one I am filling) and yet they have just hired two RN's, so I wonder if they are going to fire her after the other two are trained.........and thankfully this assignment will be over for me at the end of May......just not sure what/where I want to go next.

I should be making a menu for the time my in-laws are here, it is so far to the store from where I live, I don't want to have to be making runs everyday.

There is only one position open where I am at (the one I am filling) and yet they have just hired two RN's, so I wonder if they are going to fire her after the other two are trained.........and thankfully this assignment will be over for me at the end of May......just not sure what/where I want to go next.

Well that's good that they get to deal with her - and long term, too! Who knows, maybe she will flourish (HAH!) - meanwhile, you get out from under in May.

When would you be able to decide where to go next? I did travel nursing in 83, just managed to do 1 assignment (Broward General in Ft. Lauderdale, FL). I had planned to take assignments all over - esp. LA (for Mardi Gras) and Cali (No. and So.). But when my boyfriend up home decided to claim everlasting love (would never say so while I was with him), I came running home and guess what? He never said it again ... My fault tho that I let the dream die... and now I have permanent burnout it looks like!

As to your inlaws, do you like them a lot? If they drive you nuts perhaps you will WANT to do some of that running back and forth ;)

Zoe you always crack me up.....I absolutely love my in-laws and there will be NO healthy eatting while they are here....except I am only making choc. treats, cause I am not a choc. lover.

I got an offer today for a hospital just over an hour from home. Which means......I can work and stay home.....and get the higher pay, but lower housing since I will be coming back and forth. It will actually end up being about the same pay wise that I get now with the added benefit of being home.....

Now, off to the store, they will be here in about five hours......

Hi everyone!

I'm pooped! Left over from yesterday, I suspect. But I've been doing well overall in the food/exercise departments. I did splurge on pizza last night for dinner, because I didn't get home from work until really late (8 hour day turned into 13 hours...) and didn't want to mess with cooking. Only one meal mess up all week, I can live with that!

Zoe.....come on over the cookies are done and a choc. cake for tomorrow night, we are cooking out and have invited some people over, I got to thinking about the folks we invited over and they are all approx. 20 years our seniors....guess that happens when you live in a retirement community......lmao

So much for cooking out.......it is raining here, and raining pretty hard, so cooking everything inside..........It will still be fun. What time can I expect you over Zoe?
