Greetings. Deb is going to put a sticky on this thread and eventually delete the other.
This is the thread where members come to share their journey to wellness and wholeness.
It's a holistic thread, talking about all apects of health, not just diet and exercise, but the mind and spirit as well. All posters are welcome (not just Premium Members) and encouraged on a periodic basis to share what you're doing, what you need to do and how you're going to do it, and what you know!
... I hope I can get this under control, good grief, I feel like I am fighting a loosing battle. Every time I think I have it, something comes along and messes me up. Anyway - I'm thinking of keeping a food journal, just to make myself feel guilty about what I am eating since I have to write it down - maybe that will help. Had yogurt for breakfast, so we shall see where the day leads me!
I think it is you I am thinking of - it seems like some days when you are "good" you aren't getting enough food in - fruit, salad, cottage cheese - typical "diet" type foods... It's my understanding that you can't SUPER restrict cuz 1. if you only eat x amount of calories, your body thinks it is starving and will just hang onto whatever you put in! and 2. You will have the deprivation/ "I give up!" factor - slow healthy weight loss is better...
Yeah right and I am a :mortarboard: of the School of Successful Weight Loss - AND I have this great bridge I'd love to sell you...
Hi I am currently losing weight i gained from my pregnancy. I gained 95 pounds and have lost about 60 so far. I am at a stand still though. I am a sweetaholic so my lifesaver has been sugar free fat free pudding. I am starting nursing school in two weeks and looking forward to it.:monkeydance:

I donated a pint of good B- blood yesterday.BP checked out to 138/80 :uhoh21:
Taking a break from exercise yesterday and today. Getting back in the swing tomorrow....
Good doo bee (re the blood)
That is the 2nd time today someone mentioned high BP - guess I really ought to be monitoring mine better. But 138/80 isn't too bad, is it?
My normal used to be like 110/70 - now my normal is about 140/80. Last January it ran into the 200/100's - ZOIKS!

I'm barely typing this post out. My arms are buzzing - oh boy are they gonna hurt tomorrow! :chuckle
I broke all previous records of endurance - both on the treadmill and free weight dumbells. Now I just need to push my bicep repetitions to 15 each for 3 sets...
Gotta go wipe the sweat off before I stink up the whole house!
