I have an 3.5 ,TEAS 63 and I will be submitting app by end of this week :)

Hello all,

I'm applying with a 3.52 GPA & 68 TEAS score (which I know doesn't matter). I am terrified & I haven't even submitted the application :( I know my chances are low with my GPA but I'm still giving it a shot!

Super excited to log into HCC today and see my application was received and pre-reqs under review. I think the deadline to apply is May 15th, but I am so anxious this little update makes me squee!

For overall GPA tie break what semester are they looking at your overall for spring 2018 , summer 2018? fall 2017?....

Most likely the STATS its the HIGHER level math

I think it's overall GPA from your entire college transcript.

Spoke w/ Ashley Cooper Nurse advisor @813-259-6321 they dnt consider stats as a higher algebraic math they will take your college algebra .

I am currently a student at USF and i am wanting to do the concurrent program with USF. I have a 3.3 GPA and i have not taken the TEAS yet. It says the HCC will take college algebra or a higher math. I got a B in college algebra but i got an A in statistics. Im really hoping they chose to take my stats grade instead of college algebra, but i am thinking thats not the way its going to work, unfortunately. Any advice?

@MPRN2020 thank you for this info!!! im anxious too!! I have finished everything except anatomy 2, just waiting for this grade to post in early May so I can apply! cutting it close, I know.

To all of you who have already turned in your application, quick question!

Did you have to turn in another set of official transcripts with your application from your highschool and/or other colleges, even if you have already done this at HCC previously & it shows online?

No if they have them on record you don't have to resubmit them..
