  1. Great job!!! Hope to meet you at orientation!
  2. Hey Shaina! It's Rachel from Anatomy2. Good luck!!!
  3. He is correct. The score does not matter for HCC, as long as it's above the grade they require
  4. they do not count the score of your TEAS towards acceptance. As long as you pass, that's all that matters. They look at pre-req GPA, then your overall GPA as the tie-breaker
  5. hey yall! just an FYI, there is a larger discussion already started for Fall 2018! It's called to be exact... "Hcc Nursing Fall 2018 (Hillsborough Community College" If yall want to join that discussion as well! Best of luck everyone! Pre-Req GPA 3.68
  6. It's official! I just got my final grades. I will be applying Monday with a 3.68! Sociology A English A (4 credit course) Math C Micro Lecture A Micro Lab A A1 Lecture A A1 Lab A A2 Lecture A A2 Lab B I am really hoping to meet you all at the Fall 2018 RN Orientation!!
  7. @Jmcm1025 Thank you for all that information!! It helps a lot, because I have gotten conflicting stories on whether I needed to turn in more official transcripts and how long to wait for the application. Getting excited!
  8. To all of you who have already turned in your application, quick question! Did you have to turn in another set of official transcripts with your application from your highschool and/or other colleges, even if you have already done this at HCC previously & it shows online? Hope this makes sense
  9. @MPRN2020 thank you for this info!!! im anxious too!! I have finished everything except anatomy 2, just waiting for this grade to post in early May so I can apply! cutting it close, I know.
  10. Yeah, that's what I have heard is that TEAS is not that difficult. I think I'll just look over the algebra again a little. This is what is says on the HCC website: January 15 - SUMMER Entry Transition Option: LPN to RN/ Dale Mabry only May 15 – FALL Entry Program Options: Basic - Dale Mabry, Southshore and Plant City - Daytime Basic - Daytime Basic: Plant City – Evening /Weekend August 15 - SPRING Entry Program Options: Basic - Dale Mabry, Southshore and Plant City - Daytime Basic – Dale Mabry – Evening /Weekend At this time, we do not accept late applications. So if you are apply in May, and want to do the nights/weekends, they are only offering it at the Plant City location. If you want to do it at Dale Mabry, you have to wait until August application so start next Jan. 2019.
  11. Hey there! I haven't decided if I am going to apply for the Fall 2018 or Spring 2019 (since I read they aren't providing a night class for Fall 2018 & I may need to do that program) I currently work at TGH during the day, but don't know I will be able to switch to part-time or will have to quit all together for the program. Decisions, decisions! Anywho, my prereq GPA currently is 3.64 (I thought it was higher, I've gotten all As except for a C in Algebra) and I am in A&P2 right now. I am taking the TEAS in March, any advice?! Then I will submit my app. Nice to meet you!
