I have an 3.5 ,TEAS 63 and I will be submitting app by end of this week :)
Hey guys! I sent in my application a few weeks ago and boy am I nervous! I have a 3.86 pre req gpa and an 79 on the teas, my overall gpa is garbage though. Do you think it'll come down to a tie breaker ? I've work soooo hard to turn my gpa around but was still left uneligible to apply to the USF program like I had planned, so i'm really hoping to make it into HCCs. Anyone else put Southshore down as a first choice?
Take what I'm about to say with a grain of salt since I have zero inside information, but I would think with a pre-req GPA of 3.86 you should be above the range of them having to look at your overall for a tie-breaker. I think only people like myself, with pre-req GPAs around the 3.5 to 3.6 mark will have our overall GPAs taken into consideration.
I have a 3.7 gpa with an 80 on the teas. Under the documents does anyone see something like college not received ASAP or nursing prerequisites not received ASAP?
That means they have your application!!!
They can't put complete until they review around the deadline. As for the ASAP, are you taking any current classes that would effect your gpa?
Hello. I just need some advice, I will be ending this semester next week and for the pre-reqs required for the entrance to the nursing program I will have 6 As, 2 Cs and 1 B. Would you recommend I take another math class to try to bring up my gpa?
Only if you thinnk it's youll get a better grade in that class . Stats dosent not sub .youll have to take trig or a higher level math
