  2. They sent out the email early!!! I got into Bradenton! Anyone else in my class?
  3. Hey guys! I just applied, I have a 4.0 pre req and a 3.79 over all gpa and 9/9 classes. I'm really hoping to get into the Bradenton campus but am super nervous about the competitiveness and limited seats for one school. I've applied to HCC and SPC as well but all schools have different requirements and absorbed my GPA differently so I have no idea where I'll get in, i'm just hoping to get into one. I just want to be a nurse so bad
  4. I just submitted mine! Sooo nervous, I have a 4.0 pre-req and 3.79 overall. I put Bradenton only though so I just made my chances cut by half... but venice is waaaayyy too far to be an option for me. Good luck everyone!!!
  5. I'm applying to the Spring 2019 as well, I'm in Apollo Beach but willing to do the drive :). Do you know if admissions are based only on the Pre-req GPA or overall?
  6. Hey guys! I'm applying too and so nervous/excited. I have a 3.86 pre req and a 79 on my teas. I just checked my documents and everything was received but my pre reqs say its under review and says due date asap... hopefully they're just still entering everything into the system when I look at my progress towards the degree it says the pre reqs are all complete and the gpa for it is 3.86. Is anyone elses saying this? I'm hoping to get into southshore but really anything I can get into would be amazing, I just want to be a nurse.
  7. the deadline is may 15th and the website said at least 4 weeks after this so.... a while :/ so many nerves!
  8. Everyones just saying the past cut off gpas were that high. Theres no way to know what our rounds cut off is until the acceptance letters go out, so don't get discouraged 3.4 is a great gpa and could very well get you in. Especially if your over all gpa is good too.
  9. If anyone is still active on this, I was wondering what the new schedule looks like now that its more days and summers included. I was hoping to work at a hospital while going to school to gain experience and reinforce things learned, plus to help me pay for child care lol. But before I apply for work (I've already applied to the fall '18 nursing program) i'm trying to see if its even plausible with the new structure. aaaand to the person selling books above, how much and are they still the required texts? oh and is the program still the same length of time?
  10. Hey guys! I sent in my application a few weeks ago and boy am I nervous! I have a 3.86 pre req gpa and an 79 on the teas, my overall gpa is garbage though. Do you think it'll come down to a tie breaker ? I've work soooo hard to turn my gpa around but was still left uneligible to apply to the USF program like I had planned, so i'm really hoping to make it into HCCs. Anyone else put Southshore down as a first choice?
