Ya know, I used to take multiple final exams in college so I thought this wouldn't be any different. Well, all I have to say is that I'm GLAD I never scheduled 2 in 1 day. My mind was so burnt out from 1 that there was no way I could sit still for another 120+ questions exam- especially with the content being more than just basic facts. I'm sure some people can do it but it wasn't for me. I live about a full hour from a test site and I thought I could save on gas and time but it never worked out that way.
I live an hour and a half away from my test site. I work full time Mon-Fri. 8 to 5 off weekends. Saturdays are hard to get and my work doesn't work that well with me to leave early/ work half a day/ and god forbid me take a day off. AND... I have to be back from my test site to pick my daughter up by 6 pm.
I want to save time and gas too, but now I am worried that it is pushing myself to hard.
Thanks for your thoughts!
I think it could be done. Depends on the person and which exams are being taken. NC7 would be a good candidate to tack on to another exam. I think that if you're good at controlling test anxiety and you have the patience to sit for that long, it would be a great idea to save gas and make a bunch of progress at the same time. What a rewarding feeling it would be to walk out knowing that you had that much less to do! At the same time, it would be a bummer to have failed an exam due to overloading yourself.
I did it only once for my first and second EC tests, the first being microbiology in the morning and NC1 in the afternoon. I generally am an excellent test taker, but my mind was fried from micro in the morning. I also neglected to take some Tylenol or Motrin before the NC1 test and had some really bad cramps, so that was not a help at all. Anyway, I got a C on the NC1 test. All other tests I received A's on, so I think that scheduling 2 in a day really was detrimental for me. I wasn't cool with a C, especially since I think I could have gotten an A if I wasn't so cocky in scheduling 2 tests in 1 day.
I wouldn't recommend it, but it can be done.
Co signing on what others said. I think it would be too emotionally and physically taxing.......at least for me........hee hee. I tested Saturday on NC 6 and was not as prepared as I should have been and after much praying and hoping managed to get a B. Could I have taken another exam after that ordeal???? Heck No. Of course I guess it would depend on the person though. If you think you can manage it and feel confident about it I say go for it but for me it's a no go.
I did this once - it was ok, but Pearson's really doesn't want you to take two in one day. I really thought they were going to make me reschedule, but I managed. However, I was told never to do this again. And I'm also quite a distance from the test center, and wanted to "kill two birds with one stone." But I won't do it again.

How do you feel about taking two exams in the same day? I am trying to complete mine because I am anxious and pursuing my RN after 6 six as an LPN.
I am testing Reproductive Health on May 9th and I am thinking about also testing Health Differences Across the Life Span 1 right after on the same day.
What are your thoughts about this? Good idea or bad? My husband thinks I am pushing myself to hard.
Would you say that Life Span 1 was a difficult test or not? It's on Cardiovascular and Respiratory.
