Has anyone heard back from North Seattle CC's Fall 2011 lpn admissions?

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to see if anyone else out there has applied to North Seattle CC's Fall 2011 lpn program and if they have heard anything back from the admissions committee. I am getting anxious about hearing from them

Just received my letter - I'm in!

Unless we're both tied for #1, I think there must be more than one version of the acceptance letter - maybe for alternates?

it looks like the lowest score moved up to 190.62 and I am #4 on the waitlist

Hurray for us! We got accepted into a community college!

I'm pretty sure we're not #1 because Chelsea said the top score was 198 or something. So . . . somebody had a 4.0 and a 98%? Bloody show-off.

also Chelsea said that the last score was 189.85 which is actually WRONG !!!

the actual lowest score is 190.62

well, what can I say? too bad so sad !!

at least if I don't get in this fall I can finish my other prereqs for RN ladder and maybe apply to more than one college

Well at least you got on the list! I'm an "alternate" for the alternate list lol. Did they say how many are on the list? Number 4 isn't that bad...you might get lucky...I would not rule it out. As for me I don't think I will be attending this fall. I'm going to start studying for the Hesi again this weekend. This time I am going to take the reading section first and go super slow!

I called the school because I was curious about how I got on the waitlist after Chelsea told us that the lowest score was 189.85; so, this is how I found out that the lowest score is in fact 190.62. I also asked them what number I was on the waitlist; this was not specified in the "waitlist letter"

...plus, the person I talked to said that considering how desperate people are to get into a nursing program these days, it is less likely for me to get in, since I am #4 on the waitlist

Gawd what a bummer!!! Ya know it's probably a good thing for you to finish up all your prerequisites before you get in. Microbiology is a killer! Well we will definitely need another thread for hesi study guides and our status next quarter. :)
