Hello everyone!

I just wanted to see if anyone else out there has applied to North Seattle CC's Fall 2011 lpn program and if they have heard anything back from the admissions committee. I am getting anxious about hearing from them :uhoh3:

Thank you

well....has any of those with "passing" scores heard back from NSCC?

Not yet. I guess we'll get them tomorrow.

Why does it take so long to type "You got in!" and email it 32 times?

That email better be in iambic pentameter when I get it.

I haven't heard yet either. I'm on pins and needles!!! I was told they should have them all done by noon tomorrow. How about we agree to post as soon as we hear? :)

sure, will post smth as soon as I hear from these guys...:):stdnrsrck:

I am trying so hard to just relax and be pleasantly surprised when the email comes, but I catch myself checking my email about 20 times a day!

Come on NSCC, get it done. :anbd:

Well we should know by noon. I know you all got in....I think I'm right on the fence. I have a feeling I'll be on the wait list I just want to know what #. I'm told they usually take two off the list each quarter....When I originaly decided to presue a career in nursing, I knew it would be hard but I had NO idea how stressful! We all had to jump through so many hoops it's insane. Yet here I am again! :smackingf

Does anyone have ideas/suggestions for studying for HESI to retake it?? I did best on math (94) and worst on a&p (88) and decent english but not nearly as well as I normally do (91)..

I'm retaking it this September and need 95%.

Thanks!

Also I just ordered a few more study guides, I use note cards and re write main ideas...any tips are appreciated!

Also-let me know who gets in! and what your points were again :)

Good luck!

I just called the office and they said they emailed the "no's" yesterday and they should send out the rest by the end of this week. From Chel-sea's response the lowest score was 189.75 and I am at a 189.465.....any chance you read that low score wrong Chel_sea:confused: Well I guess I will be an alternate. Congrats to all of you that have "unofficialy" made it!!! :smiley_aa

Hi, sorry for late reply. No I didn't read it wrong. Let me know if you get in!! good luck

Chelsea to figure out your score you divide your gpa by 4 and ad that # to your hesi score. You would be at 186.00. Keep in mind that they use te numbers after the decimal so it might even be higher. Do you know your exact score?

I'm at 186.9 so I"m 3 points shy from getting in. Need to get HESI up to 95%. I did 88 on A&P, 94 on math and 92 on English...not sure how to study differently...any ideas? I used flashcards, reading and re writing things. The reading should have been easy but I was not happy with my score at all.

my daughter heard back today and didnt make it,,She had 3.7 gpa and 91 on the HESI.

This is the third time that she applied and hasnt made it.

She needs 3.8 or 3.9 with 95% on HESI (roughly)

....20 times in one hour...here:throcomp:

Just got my email; I got in. I'm not gonna lie, I've been working on the computer all morning, and every five minutes I click on the tab that has my email open and click "refresh."

My acceptance letter is titled "Yes #1" does that mean that I'm #1? Ha, just kidding!
